This position safely and effectively operates all machinery and equipment in the Assembly, CNC, and Finishing departments, while adhering to all documented instructions and procedures.
Responsibilities:

This position safely and effectively operates all assembly machinery and equipment across multiple processes, including SITEC or Dispo. The Assembly Machine Operator III works independently on assigned production jobs, consistently meeting quality and productivity standards. This role provides training, documentation support, and workflow assistance to Group Leads. The Assembly Machine Operator III acts as a resource for directing operators and supporting part flow.

The Director of Engineering is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and aligning a high-performing engineering team across Vantedge’s manufacturing sites. About the Roles: We have two specialist positions available - Value Stream Manager, Sheet Metal & Value Stream Manager, Machining. The Quality Engineer will provide support for product/process quality activities within Vantedge’s Vander-Bend Sheet Metal Manufacturing business in Stockton, CA. Areas of assignment may include Product/Process improvement efforts, equipment validations, supplier quality performance and quality systems support.
Responsibilities:
Analyze quality data (CAPA, complaints, yield trends) to identify systemic issues and lead cross-functional improvement initiatives to enhance product and process performance. Partner with Supply Chain and suppliers to drive supplier quality improvements, including corrective actions and performance monitoring. Develop, track, and report key process performance metrics (KPIs) to ensure manufacturing processes meet quality and yield targets. Analyze quality data (CAPA, complaints, yield trends) to identify systemic issues and lead cross-functional improvement initiatives to enhance product and process performance.Partner with Supply Chain and suppliers to drive supplier quality improvements, including corrective actions and performance monitoring.Develop, track, and report key process performance metrics (KPIs) to ensure manufacturing processes meet quality and yield targets.Lead or support APQP/PPAP activities, including pFMEA, Control Plans, process capability studies, and GR&R.Manage nonconforming materials (NCMR), customer complaints, and returns, ensuring timely root cause analysis and effective corrective/preventive actions.Support and maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 Quality ManagementSystems (QMS), including audit readiness and documentation control.Author, review, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality documentation.Develop and execute equipment validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) and generate validation reports.Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve quality issues and implement sustainable solutions.Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.Requirements / Skills:
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.Minimum 2+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (sheet metal or similar preferred).Technical Knowledge
Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards, including ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485.Experience with core quality tools and methodologies:Root cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone)FMEA (Design/Process)Statistical Process Control (SPC)Process capability (Cp/Cpk)Familiarity with APQP/PPAP processes and documentation requirements.Experience with measurement system analysis (MSA/GR&R).Knowledge of statistical analysis software (Minitab, JMP, or equivalent).Skills & Competencies

About the Role:
We are seeking a results-driven Manufacturing / R&D Engineer to lead process development and continuous improvement initiatives at our Wallingford and Durham, CT facilities. This role requires expertise in Pulsed Electro-Chemical Machining (PECM) and Electro-Chemical Finishing (ECF), while supporting improvements across related manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will apply strong engineering, project management, and problem-solving skills to improve quality, delivery, cost, and capacity in a contract manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include process development, new product introduction, tooling and fixture design, root cause analysis, CAPA management, process validation, and documentation development. Operate assigned assembly machines and equipment per M.O.I.’s/Work Instructions.Able to achieve expected production rate on assigned assembly processes while sustaining quality output.Perform basic gauging and visual inspections; verify gauges are correct and calibrated.Accurately complete production paperwork to ensure product ID and traceability is maintained. (Followers, Inspection Retains, etc.).Enter labor hours in MES and monitor personal time/attendance.Maintain a clean and organized work area following 6S standards.Follow all safety procedures and use required P.P.E.
