    Charleston Area Medical Center Health System is a nonprofit, 982-bed regional referral center made up of seven hospitals as well as the CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine and the CAMC Foundation. More than 1,100 providers are members of the medical and advanced practice staff of CAMC. CAMC prides itself as a leading teaching institution and academic medical center serving the healthcare needs of West Virginia and the surrounding region.     Job Summary

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    Education:
    A graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant training program or Nurse Practitioner program.

    Experience:
    Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred. Previous urology experience is strongly desired. Previous first assist experience preferred.

    Licensure:
    • Current license or ability to be licensed as a Physician Assistant by the WV Board of Medicine with a certification by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). OR currently license or ability to be licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the WV Board of Nursing.
    • Active, unrestricted WV DEA license.
    • Must be credentialed according to Mon Health Medical Center s Medical Staff By-laws and appointed as Allied Health Professional Affiliate Staff.
    • Must possess or obtain basic life support (BLS) certification within the probationary period and maintain certification. Must possess or obtain advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) within one year of employment start and maintain certification.
