This role partners closely with Sales, Integrated Site Leadership, IT, Sourcing, and Supply Chain to optimize assortment, pricing, and supplier performance while ensuring category plans align with customer needs and enterprise objectives. Unloads receives and puts away incoming goods and merchandise; unpacks bales, crates, and other containers; checks for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices; may install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit from truck to warehouse and/or shelving. Accurately sorts, labels, moves, and stores goods and merchandise; places material or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, style, or product codes; arranges storage to optimize warehouse space; reads work orders or follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. Weighs or counts items for distribution within the warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards. In this position you will design and develop Water Based, Suppression Systems, Alarm Systems and/or Fall Protection Systems Designs for industrial customers. Technical consultation for internal and external customers. Assists other designers with concept for more complicated Industrial designs. Assists with coordination/delegation of design assignments based on other designer skills and required completion dates. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Installing Life Safety Systems, conducting service calls, perform system testing and inspections to the prescribed standards. Performing on-site emergency troubleshooting and maintaining of customer's Life Safety Systems by identifying code issues and discrepancies.
