Job Duties:
Use manual tools (shovels, rakes, scrapers, squeegees, brooms) to clean industrial, institutional and government facilities As trained and certified, operate water blasting, ice blasting, media blasting and chemical cleaning systemsPerform yard, shop, and equipment maintenance and housekeeping assignmentsComplete site-specific documentation and duties as assigned by crew leader or supervisorEnsure equipment and company property is maintained in proper conditionMinimum Requirements:

Lab Analyst II
Dayton, OH

Valicor is looking for a MID LEVEL analyst to perform various tasks. The candidate must be flexible, self-driven, and willing/eager to learn all aspects of the laboratory. We are seeking someone that is motivated to learn and retain various techniques required for screening water, oil, and waste, while operating in a more repetitive routine. Efficient, detail-oriented candidates with good communication skills are preferred. Both independent and teamwork are required.
Basic Duties and Responsibilities
Properly receive and log all incoming samples, both manual and electronic, ensuring proper labeling and paperwork.Follow standard operating procedures for all testing parameters. Reports any required method deviations to Management immediately.Prepare standards, reagents/chemical solutions, and other laboratory solutions as directed by Management or the Lead Analyst.Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment. Perform routine maintenance, make minor repairs, and clean laboratory apparatus and equipment. Ensures a high standard of safety, quality control, and housekeeping.Recalibrates equipment and runs/reviews required quality control samples.Prepare analytical reports and properly communicate any off-spec results with Management immediately.Conduct inventory and/or purchasing of laboratory consumables.Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned. Properly move and handle compressed gas cylinders.Participate in quarterly laboratory safety audits.Follow best practices for handling laboratory waste disposal.Adhere to all applicable Health and Safety rules and regulations within the facility and laboratory. Wear PPE as required by the facility. Function in an industrial environment adjacent to plant operations.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Laboratory Safety & Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).Knowledge of gas chromatography (GC using ECD/MS), inductively coupled plasma (ICP-OES), physical testing, flash point testing, wet chemistry, etc.Experience with EPA and other regulatory methods.Proficiency with Microsoft, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Access.Experience with Chromeleon, ChemStation, and Qtegra software preferred but not required.Basic Requirements and Qualifications
