Key Responsibilities
Operate the Drone for pressure washing and window cleaning, delivering exceptional results on mid-rise to high-rise buildings. Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections of the drone to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Analyze building surfaces to develop efficient cleaning strategies tailored to unique structural challenges. Maintain precise control of the drone during cleaning operations to ensure safety and effectiveness without property damage. Adhere to all FAA regulations, such as maintaining line-of-sight and avoiding restricted airspaces. Follow OSHA standards and Valcourt’s safety protocols to ensure the highest level of operational safety. Prepare and execute site-specific work plans, including risk assessments and hazard mitigation strategies. Ensure environmental compliance, including proper management of runoff and adherence to regulations. Perform routine maintenance on the Drone, including cleaning, calibration, and troubleshooting to ensure operational readiness. Document project processes, including capturing before-and-after photos, preparing client reports, and maintaining detailed operational logs. Promptly report technical issues, accidents, or near-misses to management and participate in resolution processes. Collaborate with operations and site teams to coordinate access, water sources, and project schedules. Maintain professional and clear communication with clients, providing updates and addressing any questions or concerns during the project.Skills and Qualifications Required:
FAA Part 107 Certification (mandatory for commercial drone operation). Proven experience in operating drones for commercial applications, preferably in pressure washing or building maintenance. Interface with sales, estimating and commercial operations to fully understand as-sold estimates and proposals, including clarifications, exceptions, and exclusions.Provide support and interface with project managers to support their needs, ensuring alignment with the prescribed execution plan and incorporating a periodic weekly review of project performance based on typical earned value management elements.Ensure consistency in the creation and use of project controls and project management risk toll gate programs to drive operational consistency within assigned region of responsibility.Establish a comprehensive project set up plan by deconstructing estimates and developing an adequate earned value management plan to accommodate the as-sold execution plan.Ensure appropriate change management rigor when deviations from scope, schedule, and budget occur, administering change management compliant with signed contract documents.Manage and support multiple projects in multiple locations with multiple project managers.Conduct periodic reviews of project performance, creating project documentation on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to support client contractual requirements and deliver financial understanding to the company through monthly EAC calculations.Support monthly business reviews and operating reviews along with support to WIP job cost accounting calls.Utilize a "cost-to-cost" accounting methodology to understand revenue recognition and progression within appropriate fiscal periods.Create 4 to 5 key KPI graphs illustrating metrics against as-sold key elements (e.g., expected headcount, CPI, SPI, work release schedules vs. actual work releases received, etc.).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience in project controls management within the construction or maintenance industry. Preferably candidate should have 1-2 years of construction site experience.Understanding contracts, standard commercial T&C’s, contract compliance, invoice auditing, construction payment applications, change orders and proposal experience considered a major plus.Strong understanding of construction project management methodologies and best practices.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, Fieldwire, etc).Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Proven ability to mentor project teams and drive adoption of best practices.Strong background in process improvement and operational standardization.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CCP).Experience with building façade maintenance and window cleaning projects.Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.Bi-lingual (English, Spanish)
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Office-based with regular site visits required.Ability to work in various weather conditions, climb ladders and ability to work at heights.Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Travel up to 35% of the time.
Reporting Structure:
Reports to the Regional Operations Leader.May oversee a team of project controls specialists and coordinators.
