Senior Accountant4 days onsiteFarmer's Branch, TXCompensation: $90-105k + bonus (depending on experience)Position Summary:One of Vaco’s clients is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience with relevant accounting skills, reconciliations, and multi-unit or multi-location type structure.Responsibilities:Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Manage general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal entries.Maintain Company’s finance leases and right of use assets within framework of US GAAP and IFRS.Prepping financial statements, AP review, journal entries, BS and IS analysisEnsure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.Partner with cross-functional teams to address financial reporting and operational issues.Contribute to process improvements and automation to streamline financial workflows.Requirements:5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong background in general ledger and financial reporting.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.Vaco provides expert consulting, permanent placement, executive search, managed services, and strategic staffing solutions for companies around the world, in the areas of accounting, finance, technology, healthcare, operations and more.
