Responsibilities What You'll Do: We are looking for an experienced senior engineer to manage multiple engineering projects spanning a variety of security levels for a government program office. Key Responsibilities: Provide engineering and technical support to the PM/DPM, Functional Leads and IPT Leads for a major DoD Acquisition Program. Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test or evaluate military weapons systems. Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Assist the PMs and IPT Leads in identifying, capturing and tracking Program risks and their associated mitigation plans. Use databases and MS Office products to manage, maintain and distribute technical and programmatic data, as directed by Program Manager, IPT and Functional Leads, and Configuration/Data Managers. Coordinate functions between government and contractor project leads and engineers along with the operational subject matter experts, warfighters, and military leaders involved in program planning and execution. Qualifications Minimum Qualification: Education: BS/BA in a technical, business, or management field or equivalent experience. A BS/BA can be substituted with 4 additional years of related experience and an AA or AS degree. Or an additional 8 years of related experience. Experience: 4 years of business/management/development/ integration experience with aircraft, weapons, and/or operations with 2 of those years occurring within the last 5 years. Appropriate educational background may be substituted for experience. Knowledge of DoD systems acquisition requirements, documentation development, financial and/or technical requirements. Qualifications Required Qualifications: The following minimum qualifications should be met and maintained during the performance of this contract: National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET), Electrical Power Testing Level II Certification National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E, Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace Certification OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour Construction Safety Certification American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), Level I Infrared Thermography Certification Demonstrated experience with: Square D Equipment such as P24 Switch Gear, VR MV Breakers, and Master Pack Breakers ASCO transfer switches Security Clearance Requirement: This position requires a current Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Clearance. V2X is seeking properly licensed, trained, and qualified High-Voltage Electricians (HVE) capable of supporting the Government Customer's electrical system.
