Job Summary The Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated Academic General Anesthesiologist to join our expanding team. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide a wide variety of anesthesia care while contributing to the department s academic, research, and teaching missions. Position Highlights * Provide anesthesia services for a broad range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties. * Deliver high-quality perioperative care and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical continuum. * Supervise and teach residents, fellows, and medical students in both clinical and didactic settings. * Participate in departmental academic activities, such as research, quality improvement, and scholarly projects. * Engage in collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical care across the institution. Qualifications * MD, DO, or equivalent degree. * Board certification or board eligibility in Anesthesiology (ABA or equivalent). * Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas. * Demonstrated interest in education, scholarship, and academic contributions. * Commitment to excellence in patient care, teamwork, and professional development. * Candidates with subspecialty training in cardio thoracic , obstetric, pediatric , regional, neurosurgical, or transplant anesthesia, as well as critical car e , pain management, hyperbaric medicine, and perioperative medicine are welcome to app ly .
