The patients housed in the Intermediate Care Unit no longer require intensive care level support but do require more support than feasible on the general floor. This position requires a high degree of autonomy, critical thinking, and clinical expertise in working with complex and critically ill pediatric patients. Graduate education and related Texas Board of Nursing authorization must be consistent with clinical practice area and patient population. OR\n·         Graduate of a Master's degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program.\n \nLicenses/Certifications\n·         Licensure as a Pediatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (CPNP-AC) by Texas State Board of Nursing. Authorization for prescriptive authority by the Texas Board of Nursing. OR\n·         Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification required.
