    Excellent opportunity for qualified lifeguards to work at upscale, residential amenity facilities. Multiple shifts available for guards at outdoor rooftop wading pools. Locations in Brooklyn.

    Essential Job Duties:

    Welcome guests to the pool area and ensure their safety and compliance with all rules.Monitor swimming pool and other designated areas to prevent accidents and minimize or eliminate unsafe situations.Explaining and enforcing rules, regulations, policies and proceduresRegularly test and record pool chemical levels (pH and chlorine) and maintain a clean pool environment.Record keeping of chemical test results to NYC DOH standards. Actively scan, recognize, and provide rapid response in all emergency situations.Provide emergency care and treatment if necessary.Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all areas.Physically capable of performing Lifeguard duties.

    Requirements:

    High degree of professionalism at all times.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.Current Lifeguard certification as required by NYC DOH.*Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification with required annual renewal to meet NYC DOH guidelines.

    Salary $19-$22/hr commensurate with experience.

    Position Overview

    The Brodsky Organization is seeking experienced, highly polished Lobby Staff to join our team at one of our premier luxury high-rise residential properties in New York City.


    The Lobby Staff Member is the first point of contact for residents and visitors. The ideal candidate delivers exceptional service, anticipates resident needs, and maintains a professional presence at all times. This position requires prior experience in luxury residential or hospitality environments.



    Key Responsibilities

    Provide a warm, professional welcome to residents, guests, and vendors, ensuring a seamless arrival experience.Manage front desk operations, including phones, inquiries, and resident requests. Monitor lobby activity, visitor access, and maintain accurate logs in accordance with building security procedures.Opening the door for residents and guests and assisting with packages or luggage.Receive, log, and distribute packages.Enforce house rules and support management with resident and vendor mattersRespond to and resolve resident concerns promptly and professionally.



    Qualifications

    Experience in luxury residential, hotel, or high-end hospitality environments required Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional demeanorExperience with Microsoft Office and BuildingLink or similar property management systems preferred Flexible availability to workday, evening, and overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.


    Compensation

    $22.00 - $30.77 per hour, commensurate with experience and 32BJ wage rates

    The successful candidate must be an experienced team player, highly motivated, detail-oriented and courteous in dealing with residents and colleagues alike. Duties include staff oversight, basic repairs, resolve mechanical issues, preventative maintenance, apartment preparation, move ins/move outs, as well as supervising contractors and vendors and tracking invoices. The position is a non-resident superintendent who will also be on call via company phone and email for escalated concerns.

    Desired Qualifications:

    · 5-10 years of handyman, or building/mechanical system experience in Luxury residential or Class A Commercial properties

    · HS Required, College or other advanced education preferred

    · Strong knowledge of building mechanical systems.

    · Competence with plumbing, electric, carpentry/sheetrock, and appliance repair

    · Strong written and verbal communication is required as successful candidate will interface regularly with residents, property managers, vendors, suppliers, contractors, and staff.

    · Must have professional integrity, possess a “can-do” attitude, be a problem-solver, well-organized and consistently see projects through to completion without needing additional reminders.

    · Ability to act proactively, independently and with minimal supervision

    · Experience supervising a staff

    · Experience in offering a high level of customer service

    · Superior troubleshooting skills

    · Computer literacy, proficiency with software including BuildingLink, Yardi, BMS systems, MS Outlook or MS Office Suite preferred

    · Supervise Major Capital Improvements


    66-unit rental building located in Chelsea.

    Salary: $72,500 - $85,000 annually
