Position Summary
The Mid-Level Multifamily Housing Designer is responsible for contributing to the planning, design, and documentation of multifamily residential projects, including apartments, mixed-use developments, townhomes, senior living communities, and affordable housing. This role supports project teams through all phases of design and construction, from conceptual design through construction administration, while ensuring compliance with building codes, zoning requirements, client objectives, and project schedules.
The ideal candidate possesses strong design and technical skills, experience with multifamily residential projects, and the ability to collaborate effectively with consultants, clients, and internal team members.
Key Responsibilities
Develop architectural designs for multifamily residential and mixed-use projects.Prepare floor plans, building elevations, sections, and architectural details.Assist with project programming, feasibility studies, and zoning analyses.Produce design presentations, renderings, and graphic materials for client and municipal review.Develop and coordinate construction documents in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes.Collaborate with project architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, and other consultants.Participate in quality control reviews and coordination meetings.Research building materials, systems, and construction methods.Support permit submissions and responses to jurisdictional comments.Assist during bidding and construction phases, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.Maintain project documentation and ensure adherence to company standards.Contribute to design innovation and implementation of best practices in multifamily housing design.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program proffered.5–8 years of professional architectural experience.Minimum 3 years of experience working on multifamily residential projects.Proficiency in:Autodesk RevitAutoCAD ArchitectureAdobe Creative SuiteMicrosoft Office SuiteStrong understanding of:Multifamily building typesBuilding codes and accessibility requirementsConstruction documentationBuilding systems coordinationAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.Preferred Qualifications

Position Summary
The Architectural Designer II/III is responsible for supporting the planning, design, documentation, and coordination of healthcare projects, with a primary focus on medical office buildings (MOBs), dental offices, ambulatory care facilities, specialty clinics, and healthcare tenant improvements. This position participates in all phases of project development, from programming and schematic design through construction administration, while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, client standards, and project objectives.
The ideal candidate combines strong design and technical skills with an understanding of healthcare environments, patient-centered design principles, building systems coordination, and construction documentation. The Designer II/III works collaboratively with project teams, consultants, and clients to deliver innovative, functional, and code-compliant healthcare facilities.
Essential Responsibilities
Design & Planning
Assist in programming, space planning, and design development for medical and dental facilities.Develop floor plans, building layouts, interior configurations, elevations, sections, and details.Participate in design charrettes and client meetings to understand operational workflows and project goals.Prepare presentation materials, renderings, and design studies for client review and approval.Support feasibility studies, due diligence investigations, and facility assessments.Technical Documentation
Prepare and coordinate construction documents using AutoCAD Architecture.Develop detailed architectural drawings and specifications in accordance with project requirements.Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and specialty consultants.Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, accessibility standards, healthcare regulations, and local jurisdictional requirements.Participate in internal quality assurance and quality control reviews.Project Coordination
Coordinate project information among team members, consultants, and clients.Assist with permit applications and responses to plan review comments.Track project tasks and deadlines to support successful project delivery.Participate in consultant coordination meetings and project reviews.Support construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittal reviews, punch lists, and site observations.Client Support
Assist project leadership with client communications and meeting preparation.Support the development of project schedules, budgets, and scope documentation.Maintain responsiveness to client needs while balancing design, technical, and regulatory requirements.Required Qualifications
