Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, & PRN (As Needed); days, evenings, overnights
Pay Range: $18-$20 per hour
Reports To: Site Director

Position Overview
Unks Place is seeking Residential Youth Specialists to provide direct care and supervision to youth living in a residential group home setting. This role is ideal for adults who are steady, responsible, and committed to supporting young people through structure, care, and consistency.
What Youll Do
Supervise and support youth during assigned shiftsAssist with daily routines such as meals, hygiene, chores, and life skillsRespond to behavioral and emotional needs using approved support strategiesComplete shift documentation and incident reportsTransport youth to appointments and activitiesFollow agency policies, safety procedures, and licensing standardsPerform other duties as assignedTraining Provided
No prior certifications required. Unks Place provides training in:
Crisis prevention and interventionFirst Aid and safety responseDocumentation and supervision expectationsAgency policies and residential care standardsQualifications
High school diploma or GEDAbility to remain calm and professional in challenging situationsStrong communication skills and sound judgmentWillingness to learn and work as part of a teamAdditional Requirements
Ability to meet agency driving requirementsAbility to pass background checks and required clearancesAvailability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
