POSITION SUMMARY
At the administrative direction of the Director / Operations Supervisor, and the clinical direction of the Radiologist / Team Leader independently performs computerized tomography procedures with minimum supervision.
Our CT technologists are expected to have flexibility to cross train in other Diagnostic Imaging modalities based upon departmental staffing needs.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE
On the job training will be performed under the supervision of a radiologist. Employees who are cross-trained in more than one DI modality are responsible for all aspects of the job descriptions in each separate modality.
Competencies in each modality must be kept at adequate levels of performance for each area, and necessary documentation, including certification renewals, must take place on a yearly basis.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
ARRT and Vermont State license required.
Advanced CT certification required.
SHIFTS/HOURS
This position is scheduled for seven shifts in a row, and then enjoy seven days off! Shift starts on Thursday evening and ends the following Thursday morning. Shifts scheduled Sunday through Thursday nights are 9:30pm-8am, and Friday and Saturday shifts are 10pm-8:30am.

Under the supervision of the Licensed Nurse performs direct and indirect nursing care for patients. Is responsible for the care provided to assigned patients and accountable to the unit manager/charge nurse for such care. Arranges off-site resident appointments and operates the Woodridge vehicle to provide transportation to appointments.
This position will be involved with managing medical records under the direction of the Director of Nursing. Provides care to assigned patients in conformance with Nursing Department Policies, Standards of Practice, physician orders and an approved plan of care. Promotes communication of patients' status, change in condition and patients' need with the licensed nurse.
Functions within Nursing Department and CVMC and Woodridge policies and procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the nursing department and CVMC and Woodridge.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
-High School graduate or equivalent.
-Registered in the State of Vermont as a Licensed Nursing Assistant.
-Must have a valid motor vehicle license. Must provide Motor Vehicle Report in accordance with policy A-904.
-Must be at least 18 years of age.
-Prior experience as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in a health care setting is preferred.
-Must demonstrate ability to perform basic nursing care skills.

HOURS/CALL
This position is scheduled for shifts Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5pm. As a 72 hour per pay period position, there is one scheduled day off during each two-week pay period.
Rotating weekends is for an on-call rotation only - every 5th weekend.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position provides advanced technical skills in performing and analyzing various clinical laboratory tests and procedures. Responsibilities include independently applying clinical laboratory techniques in the performance of test procedures to obtain reliable diagnostic results from patient specimens.
Performs phlebotomies and processes specimens in a safe, accurate and professional manner. Responsible for accurate, immediate reporting of test results, identifying, troubleshooting and resolving problems, instrument maintenance, documentation of problems, and following safe laboratory practices. Interacts with all types of patients, volunteers, and coworkers in a pleasant, efficient and cooperative manner. Monitors patient results for unexpected reactions and responds to emergency situations as required. Provides and receives constructive feedback from laboratory leadership members. Works with laboratory and hospital staff to provide efficient and timely collections and reporting of results. The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs is required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. degree in Medical Technology or HEW certified Medical Technologist according to CLIAA 88 standards. ASCP or AMT certified within 6 months of hire.
EXPERIENCE:
6 months to 1 year to be proficient to work on-call.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum one year of Licensed Nursing Assistant experience, required for the Resource Pool.
M inimum of one year experience in acute care facility preferred.
Must demonstrate ability to perform basic nursing care skills.
Management of Aggressive Behaviors (MOAB) and Pro-Act certifications are required within 6 months of hire. Basic Life Safety (BLS) is required.
