Under direct supervision of the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor. Is responsible for food production for patient, cafeteria and catering areas.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE:
Able to follow written and verbal instructions.HS Diploma or GED highly preferred but not required. CFC credential from the American Culinary Federation or an equivalent recognized credential is required within 6 months of hire. CVMC will provide initial certification preparation and membership/testing fees.
EXPERIENCE:
One-year institutional quantity cooking experience is required or one year as a Food Service Worker 2/3 and demonstrated skills following standardized recipes and food preparation procedures.

Under the supervision and direction of the Vermont Licensed/Registered Nurse, Perioperative Management (ACU, ENDO), Providers and Anesthesia personnel the Perioperative Technician performs various direct and indirect patient care activities in accordance with the Nursing Department policies and procedures. Will assist with the care of any patient and a variety of functions related to patient registration, guest relations, chart prep, scheduling and supply management. Performs a variety of other duties related to preparing the surgical/endoscopy patient and maintaining the ACU/ENDO environment. 1. Two Medical/Surgical Units - 2 South Unit -has forty-two patient beds and 2 North Unit has nine patient beds.
2. Intensive Care Unit - Fourteen patient beds.
3. Women and Children's Unit - Four labor, delivery, recovery and post-partum suites with labor tubs, six additional inpatient rooms, three observation rooms and a fully equipped Operating Room.
4. Emergency Department - Twenty-four patient beds that provides care for an average of 80 patients per day.
Experience: Preferably one year of hospital experience and two years of nursing experience.
On-call: Not required.
Incentives: $10, 000 (pro-rated for part-time) signing bonus for full-time positions. $9, 200 (pro-rated for part-time) for relocation assistance. $6.00/hr. resource differential. $3.00/hr. evening differential, $6.50/hr. night differential and $3.50/hr. weekend differential. $3.00/hr. charge role differential. $2.00/hr. preceptor differential. 1.5 times regular pay for holidays.
