    The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Community Practice, is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Instructor or above to join our new community practice located in Denver. We are seeking a skilled generalist to provide comprehensive clinical care in both obstetrics and gynecology, including inpatient and outpatient services, as well as surgery.

    As a member of the CU Medicine East Denver practice, you will collaborate with a team of providers, sharing service coverage- including night and weekend call at Rose Medical Center.

    While the position is primarily clinical, there are opportunities to contribute to the education of medical residents and students, supporting the next generation of clinicians.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in obstetrics and gynecology, including outpatient visits, inpatient care, and surgical procedures.Participate in call coverage, including nights and weekendsCollaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and coordinated care across the practiceSupervise and teach medical students in both clinical and procedural settings. Maintain accurate and timely medical documentationEngage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomesContribute to community outreach and patient education efforts

    Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Denver, Colorado

    Instructor:

    MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics & GynecologyActive or unrestricted Colorado medical license Current BLS certifications

    Senior Instructor:

    MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics & GynecologyActive or unrestricted Colorado medical licenseCurrent BLS certifications5 years of clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology

    Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Instructor:

    One (1) year of clinical OBGYN experience post-residencyExperience in high volume/ high-risk obstetrics

    Senior Instructor:

    Seven (7) years of clinical OBGYN experience post-residency Experience in clinical education

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Labor management, including knowledge of normal and high-risk labor progressionProficiency in fetal heart rate monitoring and interpretationKnowledge of gynecologic evaluation and management Experience with contraception counseling and procedures, including LARC placement and removalAbility to perform routine gynecologic surgeries Clear, effective communication and clinical documentationDemonstrated professionalism, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to care across diverse populations

    Conditions of Employment:

    Successful completion of institutional credentialing and privileging requirements, including eligibility to practice at affiliated hospitals and clinical sites, and maintaining those credentials in good standing.
