    The College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology-Oncology is recruiting for a full-time (100% FTE) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. This position will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities. Under general supervision from a designated administrator, assist in providing comprehensive, continuous, and personalized care to patients in the area of malignant hematology and medical oncology. The individual will provide patient/family education and will be expected to participate in teaching activities for students, residents and fellows.

    Essential Functions Conduct comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of patients.Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests.Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities.Monitor the effectiveness of interventions.Maintain accurate medical records.Collaborate with other providers and members of the health care team in delivery of care and make appropriate referrals when needed.Educate patients and families about medical conditions and treatment plans.Facilitate staff, patient, and family decision making using evidence-based practice.Participate in research and development projects.Participate in education of nurse practitioners, nurse practitioner students and medical students.Perform related duties based on departmental need.     Nurse Practitioner:
    Required Education
    A master's degree in nursing and graduation from an accredited nursing program.

    Required Trainings/Certifications
    Current/valid APRN license to practice in the state of Ohio with prescriptive authority prior to start.
    Active Board Certification in appropriate nursing specialty.

    Required Experience
    At least three (3) years nursing experience.

    Physician Assistant:
    Required Education
    Graduation from a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on

    The UC Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Cincinnati has been an independent academic unit within the College of Medicine since 1984. It is responsible for the medical direction of the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Center for Emergency Care (CEC), the newly opened FLEX-ICU, and the Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program.

    The College of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine, is seeking to fill a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position in the FLEX Intensive Care Unit (FLEX-ICU) at UCMC. The position will be housed entirely within the new FLEX-ICU and care will be provided to critically ill and injured patients, undifferentiated critically ill transfer patients, organ donors, and complex step-down level patients. The work schedule will include 12 hour shifts, days and nights, weekdays and weekends. Positions that only work nights are available. For qualified applicants, overtime shifts in the ED may be available as well.

    Essential Functions Provide state of the art care to critically ill and injured patients, as well as complex step-down patients, in the new FLEX-ICU at University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC).Perform critical care duties necessary to stabilize and care for a mixed critical care population per the Standard Care Agreement with a collaborating physician.Develop treatment plans in collaboration with the attending physician and members of the multidisciplinary critical care team.Prescribe and monitor medications in accordance with the state and University of Cincinnati Medical Center prescriptive authority.Procedures necessary for the provision of critical care including arterial catheter placement, central line placement, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy will be performed commensurate with existing skill and privileging. Independent capability with these procedures is preferred but not required at job start.Be actively involved with Quality Management, data collection and performance improvement initiatives. Other activities and/or duties assigned to achieve the overall mission of the position within the department.

    A 12-month, full time (100% FTE) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Internal Medicine Fellowship position is available in the Department of Medical Education. The Fellowship runs from September 2026 through September 2027. This fellowship program enables advanced practice nurses and physician assistants (APPs) to acquire robust clinical experiences and critical care knowledge base within the multi-faceted critical care areas at UC Medical Center and West Chester Hospital Clinical rotations include Internal Medicine, Neurology, Cardiology, Nephrology, Hepatology, and more.

    The APP Fellow is expected to participate in protected, non-clinical didactic education in the form of lectures, simulation, skills labs, case studies, presentations, and other components of the critical care fellow curriculum as determined by the coordinator and director. The APP Fellow is also responsible for completion of an evidence-based practice or quality-improvement project during their tenure as a fellow.

    Essential Functions Collaborate with interdisciplinary health care team caring for critically ill patients, managing both their acute and chronic health care needs. Demonstrate proficiency in core knowledge inclusive of assessment, treatment, and coordination of patient care. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with other very talented psychiatrists and health care professionals in a variety of psychiatric specialties. We have the largest medical staff of any freestanding psychiatric hospital, allowing you to have access to many professional resources. LCOH is part of the UC Health network and also has affiliations with Cincinnati Children's Hospital and the Mayo Clinic.

    The outpatient therapist position applies psychological principles and techniques to provide clinical outpatient care to adult and adolescent patients, providing approximately 30 hours of direct patient care every week either in person or via telehealth. Provides diagnostic evaluations of each patient using empirically based tools and methods, focusing on OCD, Panic Disorder, Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors, and other related behavioral disorders. Provides ongoing individual, family, and group therapy as indicated using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).

    Required Education
    Master's Degree: For LPCC: Degree must be from a clinical mental health counseling program, clinical rehabilitation counseling program, or addiction counseling program accredited by the council for accreditation of counseling and related educational programs "CACREP."     The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking an MD clinician to work with the Gastroenterology section with advanced expertise in gastrointestinal motility and Neurogastroenterology. This faculty candidate will be recruited at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level. Final faculty rank will be commensurate with experience.

    This is a clinical academic mission position, with support for research, teaching, and administration. This position is supported by dedicated administrative staff and advanced practice providers. Compensation is highly competitive with the opportunity for incentives based on clinical and/or academic productivity.

    Essential Functions Provide comprehensive adult gastroenterology care across UC Health sites, including but not necessarily limited to University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC), UC West Chester Hospital, and University Endoscopy Center. Deliver 6+ weeks of inpatient gastroenterology service annually. Provide 6+ weeks of annual call coverage. Maintain a balanced outpatient and procedural schedule, including: Three (3) half-day outpatient gastroenterology clinics per week; Five (5) half-day endoscopy sessions per week; Establish and lead the first Motility and Neurogastroenterology Clinic at UC, which will involve: Evaluating patients with a full spectrum of neurogastrointestinal and motility disorders, including difficulty swallowing and esophageal motility disorders, abnormal gastrointestinal motility, chronic constipation, functional bowel disorders, disorders of gut-brain interaction, and other complex neurogastrointestinal conditions; Performing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations of complex gastrointestinal motility and related disorders to develop individualized short and long term care plans. Conducting specialized diagnostic procedures, including esophageal and anorectal manometry, motility studies, and other advanced physiologic assessments. Leading a multidisciplinary, patient centered approach to complex motility and neurogastrointestinal diseases, integrating gastroenterology, colorectal surgery, pelvic floor therapy, behavioral health, nutrition, and other specialties as appropriate. Providing biofeedback therapy in the clinical setting indicated as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. Developing and launching a new, comprehensive neurogastroenterology clinic with unique diagnostic and therapeutic strategies, emphasizing multidisciplinary care pathways and innovative treatment models.     The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant for our Urogynecology clinical practice. Candidates should have an interest in developing an active clinical practice while working in an academic medical setting.

    Primary responsibilities for the APP (Advance Practice Provider) will include supporting the Pelvic Health Center by providing patient care at one or more of our clinical locations - University of Cincinnati Medical Campus, West Chester Hospital Campus or Midtown medical office building near Norwood. Clinical care will include initial and return patient visits, post-operative follow up, and performing office-based procedures based on training and licensure. APP will see patients independently.

    Essential Functions Working collaboratively with Uro-Gynecology specialists to provide comprehensive, continuous, and personalized care to patients. Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests. Monitor the effectiveness of interventions. Prescribe necessary treatment and services for quality patient care. Perform office-based procedures within the scope of practice. Collaborate with other providers and members of the health care team in delivery of care and make appropriate referrals when needed. Educate patients and families about medical conditions and treatment plans. Facilitate staff, patient, and family decision making using evidence-based practice. Possible participation in research and development projects. Participate in education of APP learners. Work collaboratively with residents, fellows and medical students. Perform history and physical examinations in the outpatient setting; write progress notes and narrative discharge summaries. Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities. Maintain accurate medical records, and complete in a timely fashion per department standards. Seek the consultation of supervising physicians when needed and participate in case/chart review. Participate in quality and safety initiatives. Complete all training in a timely fashion.     Minimum Requirements
    Nurse Practitioner:

    Required Education
    Master's degree in nursing and graduation from an ANA approved Nurse Practitioner Program.
    Required Trainings/Certifications
    Active Ohio APRN license with prescriptive authority.
    Active Board Certification in appropriate nursing specialty.
    Required Experience
    Three (3) years nursing experience.
    Additional related work experience may be required depending on specialty/sub-specialty.

    Required Education
    Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
    Required Trainings/Certifications
    Active Ohio Physician Assistant license with prescriptive authority.

    Additional related work experience may be required depending on specialty/sub-specialty.
