    Job Overview
    Install, support, monitor, maintain, repair and test university fire alarm systems.

    Essential Functions Install, repair, replace, service and test various types of fire system components in accordance with applicable codes, standards and policies. Performs component-level repairs or makes modifications of equipment. May perform some fabrication of parts.Monitor systems, participate in troubleshooting/problem determination and make repairs or refer problem to appropriate party.Inspect equipment, perform preventive maintenance and provide appropriate documentation for maintenance activities. Monitor parts inventory and requests additional parts.Perform preventative maintenance and service on campus fire alarm systems and provide appropriate documentation for activities related to the campus fire alarm system operation.Act as emergency responder liaison during non-business hour and during campus emergency closures.Designated as "Essential Personnel" you will be required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency campus closures. Work schedule (10 hour shift/4 days per week) currently rotates between day and night shifts between the hours of 0630 and 0200.Subject to being on call or called back to work. Required to work flexible hours and/or overtime during weekdays, evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.     Required Education Vocational or technical training or degree in electrical technology or related field.Two (2) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

    Job Overview
    Perform professional level technical and analytical support in the daily operations of the University of Cincinnati Police Division. Assist all Division personnel in a timely manner in the collection, collation, analysis, and dissemination of the data collected including, but not limited to, crime, arrests, calls for service, and traffic data.

    Essential Functions Analyze data from various sources and makes detailed analyses to determine specific crime patterns. Assist the Police Division's staff in selecting and accessing computerized information through the Regional Computer Center that will aid them in their replies to citizens' questions and complaints. Identify and report statistical data related to officer performance. Work with Command Staff to identify, analyze and assess critical problem-solving projects. Design computerized reports for Division use from data generated by the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system in the Communications Section. Provide requested information and assists media personnel through the Public Information Office with the requested information. Confer with Division and surrounding law enforcement personnel to gather and exchange information for analysis and presentation. Assist Division members in problem solving using available data. Provide technical level administrative crime analysis assistance to Command Staff. Provide analysis of crime, arrests and calls for service in support of Police Division mission and goals. Collect, compile and analyze information from various sources on a variety of special topics. Compile reports and generate maps. Maintain the continual development, creation, maintenance, and enhancement of the Public Safety Portal (PSP) intranet-based application data warehouse with automatic data feed and a front-end for user interaction. Maintain the continual development, creation and maintenance of automated administrative processes, including police inspections, police contact cards, police & administrative documents, daily police lineups, and the problem-solving tracking system. Maintain the continual development and creation of the risk assessment desktop application for on-campus events that allows users to create a comprehensive list of needs based on event characteristics. Maintain the continual development and automation of several processes including emails for dispositioning early warning system documents for department human resources, daily emails detailing the City of Cincinnati Police Department crime reports in the university area and emails to university stakeholders detailing reported incidents related to mental health. Prepare written materials to communicate Division activities and programs for internal and external distribution. Act as a resource to persons, including citizens with inquiries about Division statistics, activities and services. Compile, calculate, maintain, and review Division monthly executive information summary. May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.). This position will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities. Under general supervision, the Clinical Research Professional will provide support and assistance for the University of Cincinnati Cancer Center Clinical Trials Office (CTO). Duties can span a broad range of activities or can be primarily focused within one or more areas of the clinical research spectrum. Please note this is a FULL-TIME, ON-SITE position. NOTE: This position does not qualify for Visa sponsorship. Essential Functions * Complete training and follow established CTO workflows and CTO/UC Health standard operating procedures. * In conjunction with the investigator, consent participants to interventional clinical trials. This includes providing education of clinical trial design (phases 1-4), explaining primary research aims, reviewing screening procedures, dosing schedule, potential side effects (some of which are unknown), anticipated benefits of trial participation, costs/coverage of treatment, and compensation for participating (if any). * Order, coordinate, and schedule screening and on-study procedures, including but not limited to, local labs, central labs, ECGs, ECHOs, CT, PET, and/or MRI scans, physical exams, pulmonary function tests, cardiac stress tests, biopsies, infusions. * Complete eligibility review and verification in conjunction with treating physician/sub-I and CRC team. * Interview patients for baseline and ongoing changes in medical history, concomitant medications, and adverse events, and document within the EPIC electronic medical record * Utilize 3rd party study systems throughout the patients' participation of study, uses include but are not limited to, randomization, registration, dose/drug assignment, uploading of source material, download of specialty reports, data entry. * Prepare biospecimen collection supplies, including hand off instructions for the clinical nurse(s) or phlebotomist(s), and ensure processing laboratory has accurate processing and shipment manuals and supplies. * Complete ECGs on study-provided ECG machines when due. * Coordinate collection, transportation, and shipment of research biospecimens as needed. Job Overview Under general supervision from higher-level supervisor, perform semi-skilled and skilled maintenance work; supervises subordinates in maintenance repair work. Essential Functions * Perform semi-skilled and skilled carpentry repairs; repair doors, locks, cabinets, chairs, desks, floors, walls and windows. * Perform semi-skilled and skilled repair or various pieces of electrical equipment, such as appliances, outlets, wiring and electrical components of heating and cooling systems. * Perform semi-skilled and skilled repair of pipes, toilets, steam traps, water lines, sewer lines and other pieces of plumbing equipment. * Perform semi-skilled and skilled repair using various welding techniques. * Supervise subordinates in duties associated with maintenance repair; assign duties, schedule workloads and instruct subordinates in the correct procedures to follow. * Continuously inspect buildings and equipment, of any needed repairs and replacements and performing preventive maintenance. * Operate machine tools in order to fabricate metals and make repairs on building and equipment parts. * Make minor repairs and adjustments to pneumatic control systems. * Maintain housekeeping conditions as prescribed by area. * Perform related duties based on departmental need. Minimum Requirements High school/GED; 2 years experience in general maintenance; Some positions may require a valid driver's license.
