    MONDAY- SATURDAY

    7:00 AM-11:00 AM

    Day porters are often unseen workers at shopping centers, malls, homeowner associations, and other large common spaces. Our porters do more than clean, they help uphold the image of the facility and ensure that it is a place that customers and patrons want to frequent on a regular basis. By making sure that the property looks appealing, clean and in good repair, day porters provide an invaluable service that keeps management, customers, and tenants happy.

    The Porter Position is 80% outdoors and requires a hard-working individual who can work effectively in different weather scenarios. Universal Maintenance is seeking someone who is self-sufficient with the ability to be productive and reliable even when supervision or management is not present.

    Duties:

    · Clean & restock restrooms

    · Vacuuming, dusting, de-webbing

    · Sweeping, mopping

    · Empty trash receptacles

    · Power Washing/Awning Cleaning

    · Clean outside areas, including tables, chairs, benches & parking lot

    · Must be able to use chemical or cleaning solution to perform duties

    · Must be able to lift 35+lbs

    · Must be able to stand or walk for 8 hours per shift

    · Must be able to bend to pick up items from the floor or to wipe down surfaces
    as necessary to keep the floor area clean of debris

    · Must be able to work in the outside elements

    Qualifications:

    1. Must speak, read, and write in English and Spanish

    2. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

    3. Previous experience working in the janitorial/maintenance industry is preferred

    4. Ability to communicate effectively with management

    5. Be accountable and detail oriented

    6. Be able to work under pressure and under strict deadlines

    7. Great customer service

    9. Highly motivated

    Other:

    Must be able to work either AM or PM shifts, and weekends.

    Field Supervisor

    The Field Supervisor has day-to-day responsibility for ensuring quality performance our day porters for all properties assigned to them. From time-to-time, they will also supervise special projects and services outside the scope of our regular service contracts. All Field Supervisors report to one or more Account Managers, and are directly accountable to the manager for their job performance at each of the properties assigned to them. Field Supervisors are the “front line” manager within the company.  As such, they are critical to the success of our company and directly impact our reputation for quality within the industry. The primary duties and responsibilities of a Field Supervisor are as follows:

    Job Duties -

    Create work-flow procedures and checklists that are tailored to each property in accordance with the scope of work outlined by the Account ManagersCoordinate and supervise the work and schedules for crew leaders and workers at each property; collect and review time cardsProvide regular training to all assigned field workers for OSHA safety regulations and correct handling of all cleaning materialsKeep all safety training documentation up to date in conjunction with the UM Safety AdministratorDirectly supervise and assist work crews as needed with daily duties as well as special projectsOversee the ordering, delivery, and inventory records of supplies at each property; provide proper documentation to the Account Managers for billingMaintain daily contact with all Crew Leaders and workers as necessary to direct overall service qualityConduct both scheduled and unscheduled inspections of property conditions and provide both positive and negative feedback to Field Leaders, report the same to the Account ManagersConduct regular inspections of field workers' uniforms, appearance, and compliance with company Code of ConductEnsure that all tools and equipment are in good working condition; replace as necessaryReport unusual conditions and recommended maintenance repairs/projects to Account Managers along with appropriate photo documentationBe available to accompany Account Manager on their walk-throughs with client Property Managers and follow through on resulting action items from those meetingsProvide comprehensive property inspection reports to the Account Managers, and direct crew leaders and workers regarding the priorities identified by those reportsProactively provide suggestions and solutions to Account Managers for detailed improvements of all aspects of their properties, including suggestions for changes to service schedules.Responsible for assisting Field Workers with all forms associated with accidents/injuriesConduct all responsibilities with the utmost courtesy, integrity, and professionalismWeekly review of assigned Field Workers' timesheets.

    The Property Care Specialist Porter is responsible for maintaining the grounds, curb appeal, amenities, and other common areas to assist in providing a quality living environment for the residents.


    Position Duties

    Maintain the cleanliness of the property's exterior areas including sidewalks, parking lots, courtyards, and landscaping. Including but not limited to sweeping, blowing, picking up trash, cleaning common-area site furnishings, pet waste and debris removal from all common areas, ensuring a tidy and well-kept appearance.
Clean and maintain all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, laundry rooms, pool/spa areas, fitness centers, lifestyle amenities rooms, and restrooms. Ensure that common areas are stocked with necessary supplies, such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. Clean windows, doors, and other glass surfaces to maintain a polished appearance.

    Ensure that all trash receptacles on the property are emptied regularly and that the surrounding areas are clean.

    Interact with residents and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any concerns or directing them to the appropriate staff member.

    Field Supervisor

    The Field Supervisor has day-to-day responsibility for ensuring quality performance our day porters for all properties assigned to them.     Saturday/Sunday - 7:00 AM-12:00 PM

     

    Day porters are often unseen workers at shopping centers, malls, homeowner associations, and other large common spaces. Our porters do more than clean, they help uphold the image of the facility and ensure that it is a place that customers and patrons want to frequent on a regular basis. By making sure that the property looks appealing, clean and in good repair, day porters provide an invaluable service that keeps management, customers, and tenants happy.

     

    The Porter Position is 80% outdoors and requires a hard-working individual who can work effectively in different weather scenarios. Universal Maintenance is seeking someone who is self-sufficient with the ability to be productive and reliable even when supervision or management is not present.

     

    Duties:

    · Clean & restock restrooms

    · Vacuuming, dusting, de-webbing

    · Sweeping, mopping

    · Empty trash receptacles

    · Power Washing/Awning Cleaning

    · Clean outside areas, including tables, chairs, benches & parking lot

    · Must be able to use chemical or cleaning solution to perform duties

    · Must be able to lift 35+lbs

    · Must be able to stand or walk for 8 hours per shift

    · Must be able to bend to pick up items from the floor or to wipe down surfaces
    as necessary to keep the floor area clean of debris

    · Must be able to work in the outside elements

     

    Qualifications:

     

    1. Must speak, read, and write in English and Spanish

    2. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

    3. Previous experience working in the janitorial/maintenance industry is preferred

    4. Ability to communicate effectively with management

    5. Be accountable and detail oriented

    6. Be able to work under pressure and under strict deadlines
