    Responsibilities

    Fit and weld structural steel assemblies from blueprints and shop drawings

    Perform FCAW (Flux Core) welding on carbon steel

    Measure, align, and tack materials to specification before welding

    Maintain quality workmanship while meeting production schedules

    Follow all shop safety and quality standards

    Qualifications

    Previous Welder/Fitter experience is required

    Flux Core (FCAW) experience strongly preferred

    Must be able to read and interpret fabrication drawings

    Experience fitting structural steel and fabricated assemblies

    Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety

    Weld Test Requirements

    Candidates must successfully complete an on-site weld test before hire. The test includes:

    3G Vertical (Uphill) V-Groove

    4G Overhead V-Groove

    FCAW (Flux Core) process

    Stringer beads only (no weave pattern)

    Visual inspection followed by a 2-side bend test

    Time limit: 4 hours

    Candidates must also demonstrate fitting ability during the evaluation.
