We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician with strong experience with machinery and facility maintenance within manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Technician will perform a wide variety of facility and machinery maintenance duties including inspections, replacements, alignment, balancing, installation, refurbishment, and machine operation. The position will maintain mechanical equipment, electric controls and fluid power systems. Must have the ability to think in abstract terms, solve complex problems, and apply troubleshooting skills. Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and machinery; perform routine Perform basic to advanced troubleshooting of equipment mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, and controls issues. Perform daily TPM duties. Work with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) Interpret and apply technical codes. Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot equipment is generally classified as mechanical power transmission including gearboxes/drives, transmissions, conveyors, and rollers. Work with measuring equipment such as calipers, tape measure, and micrometers. Install, maintain, rebuild, replace, and troubleshoot centrifugal and positive displacement pumps. The Maintenance Technician will perform a wide variety of facility and machinery maintenance duties including inspections, replacements, alignment, balancing, installation, refurbishment, and machine operation. The position will maintain mechanical equipment, electric controls and fluid power systems. Must have the ability to think in abstract terms, solve complex problems, and apply troubleshooting skills. This role is located in Mankato, MN. Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and machinery; perform routine Perform basic to advanced troubleshooting of equipment mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, and controls issues. Perform daily TPM duties. Work with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) Interpret and apply technical codes. Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot equipment is generally classified as mechanical power transmission including gearboxes/drives, transmissions, conveyors, and rollers. Work with measuring equipment such as calipers, tape measure, and micrometers. Install, maintain, rebuild, replace, and troubleshoot centrifugal and positive displacement pumps. Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems Must have electrical knowledge including high voltage, fuses, VFD, relays and switches and controls. PLC would be an asset but not required. Must have good knowledge of bearing types (applications and the limitations) including installation methods. Must have good knowledge of hydraulic presses and systems. Machine troubleshooting and pm experience including sheet lasers, lathe, milling machine, surface grinder, drill press, etc.is a plus. Welding experience -MIG and TIG is a plus.
