    Driver / Support Engineer - Mobile Medical Equipment

    Full-Time Regional Travel 16-ft Box Truck Operation

    We are seeking a Driver / Support Engineer to play a key hands-on role in delivering, setting up, and supporting advanced urological imaging equipment at medical facilities throughout your region. This is a full-time, field-based role that combines driving, technical setup, and light troubleshooting - ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, and values being part of a patient-focused mission.

    What You'll Do:

    • Drive a 16-ft box truck to transport medical imaging equipment to hospitals and surgical centers throughout your assigned territory
    • Set up and calibrate equipment in procedure rooms, usually the day before scheduled cases
    • Ensure systems are operational and ready at least 1 hour before procedures begin
    • Troubleshoot minor issues on-site and escalate when needed
    • Leave no trace - reset procedure rooms to original condition after each use
    • Keep your vehicle and equipment clean, maintained, and compliant with DOT and company standards

    What You Bring:

    • At least 3 years of experience driving a 16-foot box truck or similar vehicle
    • Clean driving record and ability to obtain DOT medical clearance
    • Comfortable with physical work, including lifting 50-65 lbs and maneuvering larger wheeled equipment
    • Technically inclined - can follow detailed setup procedures and basic troubleshooting protocols
    • Experience in electronics, engineering, or equipment setup preferred (but not required)
    • Professionalism and clear communication skills - you're the face of the company at medical facilities

    Work Schedule & Travel:

    • Typical travel and setup occurs the day before scheduled procedures
    • May on occasion require an overnight stay
    • 80 hours of pay guaranteed every 2 weeks
    • Flexibility required - occasional support of other drivers or facilities may be needed

    • Responsible for maintaining Policies & Procedure Manuals, which includes adding updates and reviewing each manual prior to any inspection.
    • Responsible for the upkeep of the equipment and supplies to perform procedures in an efficient and aesthetic manner. They will prepare the equipment for transport, including but not limited to, cleaning/disinfecting the equipment, putting supplies away, etc.
    • Notify their service engineer of any malfunctioning equipment.
    • Laser Specialist will wear a company name badge at all times, when on the premises of a facility.

    • Certified Scrub Tech or Certified Surgical Technologist or similar background preferred

    Qualifications

    • ARRT Certification (required)/ ARRT eligible
    • State Radiologic Technologist License - as required
    • Current BLS (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)
    • Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
    • Able to move, set up, teardown, and prepare equipment for transport.
    • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including by plane and car, with potential for frequent overnight stays.
