The Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide cardiology medical care and treatment to patients in the hospital and office, under direction of physician by ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs. The Nurse Practitioner or PA will records physical findings, and formulate plans and prognoses, based on patient's condition to ensure excellent patience care. They will discuss cases with physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plans. Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and have current certificate of registration from the NCCPA.

Board Eligible / Board Certified Anesthesiologist with interest in Cardiac procedures to join our busy practice which consists of 10 physicians and 20 CRNAs. We provide coverage at two local hospitals – UHS Wilson Medical Center, a Level II Trauma Center, (280 beds) and Binghamton General Hospital (220 beds), with opportunities for extra shifts at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital. Practice includes all procedures, including a light cardiac. Call 1:4, with resident rotation.
