We are looking for two full-time qualified Pediatric Dental Assistants to join our premiere dental practice! The right applicant will have experience preparing pediatric dentistry patients, ensuring that they are comfortable and offering another set of hands for procedures. Assistants must help Dentists to clearly see problems and changes within a patient's mouth. This often requires taking x-rays of the bone structure of a patient's jaw, as well as taking photographs of the teeth.
Responsibilities
Help Dentists prepare for procedures by having the necessary tools sterilized and in placeHelp keep a patient's mouth clean and dry during procedures and hand Dentists the necessary tools at the appropriate timePatient education; explain procedures and discuss treatment progress and plansRequirements
Previous dental chairside assisting is preferredPositive attitude and enthusiasm for the workdayExcellent customer service skills with an outgoing, people friendly personalityThe ideal applicant will display and demonstrate excellent communication skills with staff and patientsDesire to learn new skills and expand your potentialCoronal Polishing & Pit/Fissure Sealants Certifications Required*Compensation Package and Benefits
Compensation will be comprised of a base salary that is commensurate with experience. Full Medical Insurance with BCBS, employer pays on average 66% of premium!
