    Customer Development Representative

    Customer Development Representative UniFirst is seeking a motivated, self-driven individual for a Customer Development Representative position to increase sales within existing customer accounts in a dedicated market territory. As a Customer Development Representative, you will leverage warm relationships with existing customers to increase overall organic growth and profitability by selling additional products and services. Responsibilities of the Customer Development Representative include: assisting existing clients by identifying opportunities and leveraging their current partnership with UniFirst by offering additional services, products, and solutions; working with the Customer Service team to develop strategies to further develop our market share; conducting presentation meetings with potential clients as needed. Each Customer Development Representative will be responsible for achieving 80 activities per week, including 8 Facility Needs Analysis meetings, 3 presentations, and 1 sale.

    Qualifications

    What You Bring to UniFirst

    Driver's License & Safe Driving Record: Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.

    DOT Compliance: Meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, including a physical exam.

    Educational Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or military service required.

    Strong Customer Service Skills: Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented mindset and providing excellent customer service.

    Relevant Experience: Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery, roles is a plus!

    Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using and learning new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and improve customer experience.

    Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 50 lbs., with the ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.

    Position Summary

    We're seeking a high-performing B2B Sales Representative to drive new business growth in an assigned territory. The ideal candidate thrives on prospecting, closing complex contracts, and building long-term relationships with business clients.

    Key Responsibilities

    Prospect and qualify leads across a defined territory through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person visitsConduct on-site assessments and presentations for uniform rental, floor care, restroom, and facility service programsDevelop tailored proposals and close multi-year service agreementsMaintain and update CRM with accurate client information and activityMeet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotasCollaborate with service and operations teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding
