The Patient Compliance Specialist provides essential support to both patients and the clinical team,
ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for all patients. This role encompasses a range of
responsibilities, including scheduling, patient interaction, and assisting with Durable Medical Equipment
(DME) management. Additionally, this position serves as a liaison between patients and providers,
managing patient compliance, scheduling, and administrative tasks related to equipment setup and
returns.
Responsibilities
Manage patient compliance efforts, guiding patients on how to use equipment and adhere totreatment plans.
Serve as the primary, professional point of contact for all patient interactions, including phonecalls, in-person visits, and email inquiries.
Greeting, check-in, and direct patients, ensuring all necessary paperwork and protocols arecompleted upon arrival.
Will serve as a backup to receptionist when necessary. Schedule clinic appointments, DME setups, mask fittings, and equipment checks based onpatient and provider needs.
