The Aftercare Teacher, under the supervision of the Head of School, is expected to establish and maintain a quality educational program by fulfilling the following responsibilities:
Be responsible for the safety and physical well-being of all students at all times.Demonstrate the ability to relate joyfully to children.Exhibit emotional maturity and stability.Report any and all accidents immediately and prepare an incident report stating the date, time, and nature of the accident and the action taken.Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of classroom and all shared spaces at school, including collecting and stowing playground toys at the end of the day.Follow all School policies and procedures as stated in the Employee Handbook.Follow all standards in accordance with the American Montessori Society and the Department of Children and Families.Any additional duties as determined by the Head of School.DCF Level II Background Clearance and Drug Screening required
