    GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

    The Laborer, Grounds Maintenance performs grounds maintenance and landscaping services such as lawn maintenance, vegetation removal, and debris removal within installation grounds parcels designated as improved, semi-improved, and unimproved areas at the Naval Support Activity facility in Philadelphia, PA.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Mowing and trimming of vegetation to ensure a uniform height.Edging along concrete, asphalt, aggregate, planter beds, or where needed to maintain vegetation delineation.Operate and maintain irrigation systems to maintain health and appearance of vegetation.Maintain plants and plant beds to present a neat appearance.Ornamental tree planting, maintenance, and pruning.Maintain shrubs and hedges by removing and disposing of dead, broken, damaged, or diseased areas, and all other trimmings.Remove obstructions and control trees and vegetation in storm drainage systems.Weed and vegetation control with the application of herbicides.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) Certificate.A minimum of 2 years of related grounds maintenance experience.Ability to skillfully operate mowing equipment of various types, such as push mowers, zero-turn mowers, and lawn tractors.Ability to skillfully operate various commonly used small grounds keeping equipment, such as weed eaters, edgers, pruners, etc.Must have a working knowledge and comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.Must possess a valid driver's license and driving history must meet company standards throughout employment.Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and a background check as a condition of employment and to obtain access to federal installations.

    GENERAL JOB SUMMARY

    The Stock Clerk performs warehouse operations in support of the USMC MEDLOG (Medical Logistics) program. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other warehouse items. The Stock Clerk is also responsible for maintaining records and compiling the stock reports.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in the warehouse.Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse or other areas.Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisor.Receive and count stock items and record data manually or on computer.Mark stock items using electric marking tools or other labeling equipment.Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.Maintain records on the use or damage of stock or stock-handling equipment.Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, shortages, and shipments.Compile, review and maintain data from contracts, purchase orders, and other documents to assess supply needs.Operate machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.Minimum of 4 years' experience working in a related field.Must maintain a forklift certification.Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the warehousing field.Knowledge of or experience in medical supply handling, logistics, or regulated environments, i.e. MEDLOG is preferred.Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic data analysis.Must have a working knowledge of and comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.Must possess a valid driver's license and driving history must meet company standards throughout employment.Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and a background check as a condition of employment.
