This position is working in our Vascular Surgery Department at our Midtown Campus. Come join 3 esteemed Surgeons who treat roughly 400 cases per year, while you work a 4-day work week, (M-F) doing pre-op, post-op and consults with our patients. Summary Under general supervision, responsible for diagnosing and treating patients in collaboration with physician colleagues. Provide continuity of patient care by facilitating and coordinating communication between the health care team, patient and patient’s family. Coordinate care to ensure quality, cost effective care; appropriate length of stay; and patient safety. Serves as link integrating relevant research and best practices.In collaboration with the attending physician, provides day to day organizational and clinical direction and leadership of the healthcare provider team.Performs comprehensive history and physical assessment for patients admitted/scheduled to service/practice setting. .Orders, obtains and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests.Establishes medical diagnosis based on history, assessment, and diagnostic findings.Designs, orders and documents appropriate treatment plans/plans of care including prescriptions of medications based on a comprehensive review of HPI and diagnostic results.Qualifications

This full-time position covers the Baltimore region of Maryland, with equal coverage across our Dundalk, Rotunda and Belvedere center locations. UM Urgent Care providers serve as clinical leaders in our centers—delivering exceptional medical care, fostering outstanding patient experiences, and working collaboratively in a close-knit team environment with medical assistants and radiologic technologists. We care for patients ages one and older, treating a wide range of conditions including upper respiratory infections, sprains and strains, lacerations requiring sutures, employee health physicals, work-related injuries, and preoperative evaluations.Providers work 12-hour clinical shifts (8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.), typically 3 to 4 shifts per week, totaling approximately 12–14 shifts per month. Urgent care is a fast-paced, dynamic environment that offers a broad spectrum of patient presentations, ranging from acute illness to minor injuries.Qualifications
Candidates must be licensed Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants in good standing with the state of Maryland, or have licensure pending approval. An active NPI number, DEA registration, and CDS license are required, or the candidate must be in the process of obtaining them.While not required, prior clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, intensive care, or primary care settings—whether as a provider, nurse, or technician—is strongly preferred.We are seeking individuals with a proactive, growth-oriented mindset and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
