We are seeking an experienced garage door technician who can perform service and installation work independently while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair residential garage doors and openers
Replace torsion and extension springs
Install garage doors, openers, keypads, remotes, and accessories
Perform garage door tune-ups and safety inspections
Communicate repair options and recommendations to customers
Complete service calls efficiently and professionally
Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory
Follow safety procedures and company standards
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of garage door repair and installation experience
Experience replacing torsion springs safely and independently
Experience installing garage doors and garage door openers
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Ability to lift 55+ pounds
Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, and Linear openers
Experience with complete residential door installations
Sales experience and ability to recommend repairs when appropriate
