    The uBreakiFix remote technician completes off site repairs in the Lakeland, Polk County, and Osceola County area. The position requires technician to utilize a company branded van to travel off-site to complete phone repairs. Van's are outfitted to complete repairs inside a safe environment. The technician will maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during repairs. All technicians must have a smartphone in order to complete all daily tasks.

    ubreakifix remote technician serves customers off-site by diagnosing and repairing smartphones while ensuring customer satisfaction. Repair includes Apple, Samsung, and Google.

    Full-Time: 3 to 4 day work weeks

    Tasks and Responsibilities:

    Complete between 1 & 16 repairs dailySafely travel to customer sites and arrive within the scheduled appointment windowProvide quality repairs for customer smartphones in a timely mannerInform customers of job status (En route, Arrived, etc.)Update store app about repair details while on siteTravel to customer to perform repairs in the vanEnsure that all repairs meet or exceed uBreakiFix quality standardsGreet customers in a friendly manner and maintain a positive work environmentArrive at location in a professional, courteous, and friendly demeanor.Maintain a professional appearanceEnsure that customers have an enjoyable experience by providing superior customer service and exceeding customer expectationsKeep track of all inventory while safeguarding all partsMaintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the company vehicle

    Position Summary

    The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for supporting inventory accuracy and asset management across five retail repair locations. This role performs inventory counts, investigates inventory discrepancies, manages vendor returns and buyback programs, assists with chargeback investigations, and helps identify opportunities to reduce excess inventory and improve inventory performance.

    The successful candidate will work closely with store managers, technicians, and company leadership to ensure inventory processes are followed and company assets are properly accounted for.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Inventory Control

    Perform cycle counts and inventory audits at all store locations.Verify inventory accuracy for repair parts, accessories, devices, and consigned inventory.Investigate inventory shortages, overages, and discrepancies.Research missing parts and identify root causes of inventory issues.Audit inventory adjustments and ensure proper documentation.Verify inventory transfers, receiving procedures, and inventory movements between stores.Assist stores in maintaining organized inventory storage areas.Conduct periodic full physical inventories as assigned.Vendor Returns & Buybacks

    Coordinate vendor buyback programs.Process and track product and part returns.Ensure returned products are properly documented and submitted.Monitor return status and vendor credits.Assist stores with preparing parts and products for return.Chargeback & Return Investigations

    Investigate rejected vendor returns.Research chargebacks, credits, and inventory-related disputes.Track unresolved claims and follow through to resolution.Maintain records of disputes, credits, and recoveries.Excess Inventory Management

    Reporting & Compliance

    Prepare inventory accuracy and asset recovery reports.Monitor inventory shrinkage and identify trends.Report findings and recommendations to management.Ensure company inventory procedures are followed consistently across all locations.Assist with training and reinforcing inventory best practices when needed.
    Qualifications

    Required

    High School Diploma or GED.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Ability to travel regularly between company locations.Preferred

    Previous inventory, warehouse, retail, or administrative experience.Experience working with inventory systems or point-of-sale software.Experience investigating discrepancies and maintaining records.Experience in electronics repair, retail operations, logistics, or asset management is a plus.
    Physical Requirements

    Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical inventory counts.Ability to travel between store locations throughout the Houston area.
