    Responsibilities

    Direct workflow, assign responsibilities, and provide day-to-day supervision of Staff
    Accountant(s).Onboard, train, and develop direct reports to ensure technical competency and
    adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.Partner with cross-functional managers to provide accounting guidance, primarily related to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.Oversee and ensure accuracy and compliance of the Company’s sales and use tax processes, including audit support.Support the preparation of audited financial statements by ensuring timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close processes.
    Prepare and review account reconciliations, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and
    proper documentation in accordance with audit standards.Maintain audit-ready financial records, including supporting schedules, documentation, and reconciliations required by internal and external auditors.Coordinate and respond to internal and external audit requests, including year-end
    financial audits, sales tax audits, and other regulatory examinations.Evaluate, document, and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting; identify gaps and recommend process improvements to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.Assess and participate in testing of new system implementations or changes that impact the general ledger, ensuring proper controls and audit compliance.Coordinate and gather information for Research & Development Tax Credit
    documentation and support.Coordinate unclaimed property review in collaboration with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.Perform detailed variance analysis and investigate fluctuations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial results.Coordinate and enforce record retention policies and procedures in alignment with audit and compliance requirements.Establish and communicate performance goals for direct reports; provide ongoing
    feedback, coaching, and formal performance evaluations.Motivate staff to achieve high performance standards while maintaining a strong control and compliance environment.Approve PTO, manage staffing coverage, and address attendance or performance
    concerns as needed.Lead or participate in special projects, particularly those related to financial reporting, process improvement, and audit readiness.


    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required;3+ years prior staff management experience required;5+ years’ General Accounting experience.Strong attention to detail necessary;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Strong organizational and time management skills, with the proven ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize;

    Responsibilities


    Proposal Management & Development

    Lead and coordinate the proposal development process from kickoff through final submission, including timelines, assignments, reviews, approvals, and deadline management.
    • Analyze RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, supplier registrations, and other solicitation documents to ensure responses are complete, compliant, accurate, and strategically positioned.
    • Develop, write, edit, proofread, and refine proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, accuracy, and alignment with Tyndale’s brand and sales strategy.
    • Manage proposal reviews and incorporate stakeholder feedback to ensure final deliverables meet quality standards and submission requirements.
    • Support customized sales content and proposal materials, often under compressed timelines.
    • Translate complex technical, operational, and business information into clear, customer-focused messaging and value propositions.


    Content Management & Knowledgebase Administration

    Own and maintain the proposal content knowledgebase, ensuring accuracy, usability, consistency, and version control.
    • Develop and maintain templates, standard responses, and supporting proposal content architecture.
    • Conduct regular content audits to identify gaps, update outdated information, and maintain competitiveness.
    • Establish and enforce best practices and governance standards to improve consistency and scalability.
    • Use reporting, analytics, and user feedback to improve content quality and overall knowledgebase performance.


    Proposal Technology & Process Improvement

    Serve as the subject matter expert for proposal automation tools and content management systems.
    • Partner with the Director of AI and key stakeholders to identify automation and workflow optimization opportunities.
    • Support training, onboarding, and adoption of proposal tools and systems.
    • Drive process improvements that enhance proposal quality, efficiency, and win rates.
    • Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives across proposal operations.


    Cross-Functional Collaboration & Business Support

    Partner with Sales, Pricing, Finance, Operations, IT, Contract Administration, Supply Chain, Marketing, and leadership to develop proposal content.
    • Own responses to customer security questionnaires and technical assessments, ensuring accuracy and alignment with capabilities.
    • Manage supplier registrations and required customer submissions.
    • Support customer-facing communications and updates, including newsletters and key stakeholder messaging.
    • Share knowledge and support training on proposal processes and content resources.
    • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to support efficient proposal execution.


    Qualifications


    Bachelor’s degree in Professional Writing, Business Communications, or a related field required.Progressive experience in proposal development, technical writing, content management, business communications, or a related field.Previous experience directly developing and managing a team requiredDemonstrated experience developing, editing, or managing proposal responses, RFP submissions, technical content, sales materials, or customer-facing business communications.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.Experience collaborating with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams.Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; experience with Adobe Acrobat or similar document review tools.Ability to consistently interact professionally, cooperatively, and respectfully with employees and business partners.

    Program Development & Execution

    Tyndale's Sales Operations team is growing as we seek a strategic, detail-oriented Technical Proposal Manager to lead the development of compelling, compliant, and customer-focused proposal content that drives business growth, strengthens customer relationships, and supports competitive success. This leader brings deep expertise in proposal management, technical writing, content strategy, and cross-functional collaboration, partnering closely with stakeholders across the organization to deliver high-quality responses, optimize proposal processes, and continuously enhance Tyndale's proposal operations. The ideal candidate combines exceptional communication and project management skills with a passion for process improvement, content governance, and leveraging technology and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, quality, and overall proposal performance.

    HYBRID/REMOTE: Tyndale supports a strong work-life balance. This opportunity requires onsite work a minimum of 2 days per week, and 3 days per week remotely. To be considered, candidates must reside within a commutable distance from our Tyndale offices in City Centre, Houston TX or our headquarters in Pipersville, PA (Bucks County).


    Responsibilities

    Proposal Management & Development

    Lead and coordinate the proposal development process from kickoff through final submission, including timelines, assignments, reviews, approvals, and deadline management.
    • Analyze RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, supplier registrations, and other solicitation documents to ensure responses are complete, compliant, accurate, and strategically positioned.
    • Develop, write, edit, proofread, and refine proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, accuracy, and alignment with Tyndale’s brand and sales strategy.
    • Manage proposal reviews and incorporate stakeholder feedback to ensure final deliverables meet quality standards and submission requirements.
    • Support customized sales content and proposal materials, often under compressed timelines.
    • Translate complex technical, operational, and business information into clear, customer-focused messaging and value propositions.

    Content Management & Knowledgebase Administration

    Own and maintain the proposal content knowledgebase, ensuring accuracy, usability, consistency, and version control.
    • Develop and maintain templates, standard responses, and supporting proposal content architecture.
    • Conduct regular content audits to identify gaps, update outdated information, and maintain competitiveness.
    • Establish and enforce best practices and governance standards to improve consistency and scalability.
    • Use reporting, analytics, and user feedback to improve content quality and overall knowledgebase performance.

    Proposal Technology & Process Improvement

    Serve as the subject matter expert for proposal automation tools and content management systems.
    • Partner with the Director of AI and key stakeholders to identify automation and workflow optimization opportunities.
    • Support training, onboarding, and adoption of proposal tools and systems.
    • Drive process improvements that enhance proposal quality, efficiency, and win rates.
    • Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives across proposal operations.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration & Business Support

    Partner with Sales, Pricing, Finance, Operations, IT, Contract Administration, Supply Chain, Marketing, and leadership to develop proposal content.
    • Own responses to customer security questionnaires and technical assessments, ensuring accuracy and alignment with capabilities.
    • Manage supplier registrations and required customer submissions.
    • Support customer-facing communications and updates, including newsletters and key stakeholder messaging.
    • Share knowledge and support training on proposal processes and content resources.
    • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to support efficient proposal execution.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Professional Writing, Business Communications, or a related field required.Progressive experience in proposal development, technical writing, content management, business communications, or a related field.Previous experience directly developing and managing a team required Demonstrated experience developing, editing, or managing proposal responses, RFP submissions, technical content, sales materials, or customer-facing business communications.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.Experience collaborating with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams.Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; experience with Adobe Acrobat or similar document review tools.Ability to consistently interact professionally, cooperatively, and respectfully with employees and business partners.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience supporting a proposal management platform, content knowledgebase, or document automation software.
    • Experience with full RFP lifecycle management, including kickoff, compliance review, content development, review cycles, final production, and submission.
    • Experience responding to complex RFPs for enterprise, national account, government, energy, utility, manufacturing, or Fortune 500 customers.
    • Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve content development, research, editing, quality control, or workflow efficiency.
    • Familiarity with Salesforce, Trello, marketing platforms, or similar project or content management tools.
    • Experience managing, coaching, mentoring, or training content, proposal, or marketing professionals.
    • MBA or advanced degree a plus.

    • Conduct customer presentations, program reviews, and solution discussions to drive engagement and adoption.
    • Develop proposals and recommendations tailored to customer requirements and workforce needs.
    • Overcome competitive, pricing, and implementation barriers through consultative selling and value-based discussions.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process and program implementation.

    Program Development & Execution

    Support the design and implementation of scalable industrial footwear programs that align with customer and organizational objectives.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful program execution and customer satisfaction.
    • Assist customers with program adoption strategies and change management efforts.
    • Monitor program performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and expansion.
    • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and opportunity tracking within company systems.

    Reporting, Insights & Business Planning

    Qualifications

    5+ years of experience in industrial footwear, safety products, PPE, industrial sales, or a related field.

    • Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
