  Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAre you looking for a fast paced and friendly work environment? Twin City Powder Coating is now hiring ALL Shifts for MATERIAL HANDLERS and Powdercoat Pre-Treat positions.
  
  First Shift : 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday
  Second Shift:  12pm - 10:30pm Monday -  Friday
  
  Shift may vary depending on workload. Overtime available during busy times.
  
  Job Duties include:
  
  Use appropriate size hook to safely hang metal parts of various sizes and weights on rolling carts.
  
  Use proper lifting techniques to safely take down finished products.
  
  Take down painted parts and use proper packaging materials to ensure finished products are protected for shipping.
  
  Visually inspect all parts for flaws in the paint finish.
  
  Assist with any fork lift driving that may be needed.
  
  Assist other areas of the shop floor to help maintain proper work flow.
  
  Clean and organize tool carts.
  
  Clean, organize and maintain shop floor.
  
  Maintain a safe working environment.
  
  Other duties as assigned.
  
  Job Requirements
  
  Lift 50lbs consistently for entire shift.
  
  General knowledge in the use of hand tools.
  
  Be comfortable working in both a team and individual setting.
  
  Comfortable working in a hot environment.
  
  Meet and exceed strict production deadlines.
  
  Must have reliable transportation.
  
  Excellent attendance is a must. Read Less

  Responsibilities:
  Prepare metal and other surfaces for powder coating through cleaning, sandblasting, and maskingOperate powder coating spray guns and electrostatic equipment to apply uniform finishesLoad and unload parts on conveyor or rack systems for curing in industrial ovensInspect finished products for coating quality, consistency, and defectsMix and match powder materials to meet customer color and finish specificationsMaintain and clean equipment, spray booths, and work areas to ensure safe operationsFollow safety protocols and proper handling of chemicals and equipmentRequirements:
  Prior experience in powder coating, painting, or industrial finishing preferredFamiliarity with surface preparation techniques including sandblasting and chemical washingAbility to operate spray equipment and read color/finish specificationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularlyReliable, punctual, and a strong team playerExperience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plusAbout Us:
