    12-month W-2 Contract with potential to extend or convert 
    12-Hour AWS Schedule + Overtime


    Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM ($38.42/hour)
    Sunday - Tuesday / Alternating Wednesday
    Alternating Wednesday / Thursday - Saturday

    About the Role

    Seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to support semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a Class 100 cleanroom environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining highly technical production equipment to maximize uptime and performance.

    Responsibilities

    Troubleshoot and repair semiconductor manufacturing equipmentPerform preventive maintenance and equipment upgradesDiagnose root causes of equipment failuresRead electrical schematics and mechanical drawingsDocument maintenance activities and equipment performancePartner with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to improve tool uptime and efficiency

    Required Qualifications

    3+ years of semiconductor equipment maintenance experienceStrong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skillsExperience with Vacuum, Photolithography, or Wet/Plating equipmentKnowledge of PLCs and control systemsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and overtime

    Preferred Experience

    Vacuum Systems (PVD, CVD, Sputter)Photolithography / Metrology (ASML, TEL, Nikon, KLA)Wet Processing / PlatingEtch, CMP, or Deposition systemsMilitary technical background, trade school, or technical degree

    Converting Technician / Machine Operator

     

    Location: Northridge, CA (100% On-Site)
    Assignment: Contract-to-Hire (Strong Potential for Conversion)
    Pay Rate: $24.00–$26.00/hr

    1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM, Monday–Friday (2)2nd Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM, Monday–Friday (1)3rd Shift: 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM, Monday–Friday (3)

    Shift assignments may change based on business needs.

     

    Position Summary

    Our client is seeking a Converting Technician to support the manufacturing and packaging of transdermal pharmaceutical products in a regulated production environment. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting converting and packaging equipment while ensuring compliance with GMP, safety, quality, and production requirements. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, manufacturing experience, and a commitment to producing high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Set up, operate, and monitor converting and packaging equipment according to manufacturing orders, SOPs, and GMP requirements.Perform equipment changeovers, line clearances, and routine equipment inspections.Monitor process parameters and identify, troubleshoot, and escalate equipment or quality issues as needed.Verify materials and components to ensure accuracy and compliance before production use.Complete production documentation, batch records, logbooks, and electronic system entries accurately.Perform cleaning and sanitation activities to prevent contamination and maintain compliance.Support efficient production flow through material staging, lot transitions, and equipment readiness.Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely.Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) practices.Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve equipment and production issues.Assist with training, continuous improvement initiatives, and process optimization activities.

     

     

    Qualifications

    Required

    High School Diploma or GED.Minimum 4 years of mechanical, manufacturing, or equipment operation experience.Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.Basic math skills, including percentages and metric conversions.Ability to lift up to 65 lbs. occasionally and stand for extended periods.Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.

    Preferred

    Our leading medical device client is seeking dynamic individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment to join our team as IDD Production Operators. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced technicians, contributing to the manufacturing process under their expert guidance.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Assist technicians on packaging and filling operations.Perform general housekeeping duties, clean lines, and handle/dispose hazardous waste into approved waste streams. May stage new waste containers, and close filled containers for transport.Comply with all safety, quality, traceability, and compliance requirements including gowning, PPE, waste handling, SOPs, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Documentation Practices, Serialization, and Manufacturing Order Instructions.Locate, pick, and stage raw materials and in-process materials at workstation as needed.This is a physical job, which will require use of hearing protection and respiratory protection.Follow procedures for labor, downtime, and Tier 1 reporting.Take accountability for own training/certification progress.Use good judgment, and promptly escalate atypical situations.Participates in Tier process and continuous improvement events as needed.

    Skills & Experience

    High School Diploma or GED is requiredMust be able to follow written and verbal instructions.Must be able to read, write legibly, understand and communicate in English.Must be able to weigh items and have general knowledge of math including metric conversions and percentages.Must be trainable to inspect for material or product defects, print quality, and/or labeling defects.Must have good manual dexterity to perform semi-repetitive tasks. Must occasionally lift up to approximately 45 pounds.
