Required Skills/Experience: Must have 2 years of ICU experience. Must be comfortable titrating all critical drips. RNs are expected to read and interpret their own tele.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Prefer prior travel experience; If a 1st time traveler- then they need to have 3+ years of ICU experience & have Epic experience
Unit and facility details:
No Home Base Facility - Combination: MICU, SICU, TICU, CVICU, etc. Nurse Patient Ratios: 1:1-2 dependent on acuity; may be asked to flex up to 1:3 1:1 for high acuity patients such as CRRT, IABP, Impella, etc.Shift & Scheduling: 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule. May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation. call or Standby will be Rare, for low census.
Floating Requirements: MUST FLOAT Zone 1 Floating - Penrose Hospital, St Francis, St Francis InterQuest, St Mary Corwin, St Thomas More; May be asked to float into any other acuity level; ICU, PCU/Stepdown, & MS-Tele
Other Requirements: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
1 reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver's license required for submission
Certifications:
