  Test Vehicle Operator Autonomous Vehicles Location: Dallas, TX Pay: $24$26 per hour Schedule: Full-time, 3040 hours per week Contract: 1 year (extension possible) About the Role Join a cutting-edge autonomous vehicle testing program in Dallas. We're hiring safety-focused drivers to operate self-driving vehicles in real-world conditions and provide feedback that helps improve next-generation vehicle technology. Shift Information AM Shift (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM) PM Shift (2:30 PM-1:00 AM) Please Indicate Your Availability For One Of The Following Schedules: Sunday-Wednesday Thursday-Sunday Saturday-Tuesday What You'll Do Safely operate autonomous vehicles on public roads Monitor vehicle behavior and remain alert at all times Perform daily pre-drive vehicle inspections Report system performance, safety issues, and observations Communicate clearly with engineers and operations teams Maintain focus and professionalism during extended driving shifts What We're Looking For Valid U.S. driver's license held for 3+ years with no gaps between renewals Clean driving record with no points, tickets, or violations Strong understanding of traffic laws and defensive driving Ability to remain focused during 48 hour driving shifts Comfortable driving in all traffic and weather conditions Tech-savvy with fast and fast typing skills (40WPM) Preferred Experience Autonomous vehicle or ADAS experience (not obligatory if you have) GPS and navigation tools experience Delivery or app-based driving experience (3+ years preferred) Professional or ride-share driving experience (Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, etc.) Defensive driving certification is a plus Technical or troubleshooting aptitude Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Healthcare, FSA, life, and disability insurance 401(k) retirement plan Pre-tax commuter benefits Hands-on work with advanced autonomous vehicle technology How To Apply Complete the questionnaire and check your email inbox for Driving Test instructions Read Less

  RequirementsBachelor’s degree in any field; demonstrated communication, analytic, mathematical, and reasoning skills consistent with a BA/BS degree; or previous autonomous testing experienceValid US driver’s license with 7+ years driving experience and a clean driving record (DMV record will be obtained)Proficient computer skills, including basic troubleshooting with the ability to utilize proprietary toolsAbility to learn quickly and implement new conceptsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to demonstrate safe driving in all weather conditions, including snowSubject to pre-employment drug screening, DMV and criminal checks, and random drug screening🚗 What You'll Be Doing:

  Safely operate autonomous vehicles to collect vital data

  Work closely with riders, engineers, and operations teams to share insights

  Monitor vehicle behavior and performance in real-time

  Perform pre-trip safety checks and prepare vehicles for daily testing

  Document and report key observations to support system improvements

  Stay focused and alert at all times — ready for any unexpected road events

  Represent the company with professionalism and care

  ✅ What We’re Looking For:Must have worked as a professional driverAt least 7 years of clean, violation-free driving experience (no tickets, no accidents)

  Valid U.S. driver's license (held continuously for the past 3+ years)

  Strong situational awareness and the ability to react safely under pressure

  Familiarity with local traffic laws and best driving practices
