    Position Details

    Our Truck Mechanics are primarily responsible for inspection, diagnosis and repair heavy-duty vehicle suspension, brakes, and steering systems. Additional responsibilities may include DOT inspections, alignments, and preventive maintenance (oil and filter change). The typical types of vehicles are Class 3-8 trucks (semi’s, fire trucks, dump trucks, box trucks, etc), buses, recreational vehicles, trailers, and pick-up trucks. Safe working conditions, no nights or weekends, competitive hourly pay plus incentives (no flat-rate pay), drug-free workplace, benefits, and training.

    Positions available for A and/or B level technician. Pay based on experience and qualifications.

    Qualifications

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Support a safety-first culture, SAFETY IS NO ACCIDENTPositively, professionally, and effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, team members, and managementProcess and manage spring fabrication department customer orders including purchase order acknowledgement, order creation, invoicing, shipping arrangements, and customer portal management.Process and manage spring fabrication department work orders including creation, scheduling, status update, and close.Process and manage spring fabrication department raw material inventory, purchase orders, and receiving.cycle counts, etcAssist with identifying, sourcing, and ordering parts for service work and counter parts salesAssist with proactive and regular communication throughout jobs with customer, technicians, and General and/or Service AdvisorsAnswer phone calls, assist callers, direct calls, and take messagesGreet customers in showroom and assist or direct as appropriateProcess payments including charge account, credit card, cash, and checkCustomer follow-up to confirm complete customer satisfaction, retorque reminders, and/or deferred repairsAssist customers by phone, email, or in person with invoicing and processing payments.Assist with inventory management such as creating accurate purchase orders, receiving, inter-branch orders, Assist with merchandising and stocking the showroomBasic housekeeping of showroom and counter areasBecome proficient with the shop management software and PC skills (email, documents, internet navigations) as it relates the to the duties and responsibilitiesMaintain a clean and organized work area
