    Centrifuge Parts & Repair (CPR) has a long track record of consistent growth, built on technical depth and responsiveness for the food, dairy, and beverage plant operators we serve. CPR is a focused expert in disc stack centrifuge repair, rebuild, and parts supply — 20,000+ parts in stock, factory-trained technicians, and coverage across all major brands including Alfa Laval, GEA Westfalia, Tetra Pak, and Seital.

    The Opportunity

    A leadership role with real scope — direct and develop a small technical team, own CPR's internal training program, engage hands-on on significant projects, and serve as a senior engineering voice with key plant customers. A great day might include a morning plant visit with a dairy customer on a separation issue, an afternoon on a precision balance or mechanical problem in the shop, and a development conversation with a staff member.

    We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to support our Chemical Plant in Van Wert, Ohio. This position will be a key part of the maintenance team and would help assist both production and engineering. This position would be on call alternating nights and weekends. An ideal candidate has experience in both Electrical and Mechanical maintenance and is flexible to cover all shifts if needed.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    Position Qualifications:

    Skills and Abilities:

    Good personal communication skills and ability to work well with others.General knowledge of the skill trades including mechanical, plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting skills.Strong mechanical aptitude.Customer relations & problem resolution skills.Effective time management skills and attention to detail.Basic familiarity with PCs, HMI, PLC, DCS systems. Self-Starter, Ability to work independently under general supervision.Ability to read and understand P&ID's Perform reading, writing, and speaking at a basic level.Perform the basic functions of arithmetic; add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure. Demonstrate a basic understanding of specifications, blueprints, manuals and mechanical drawings and have a general understanding of analytical methods.

An ideal candidate is someone with experience with industrial equipment repair and operation, pipe fitting, strong mechanical abilities, and a strong independent work ethic. This position will be responsible for mechanical system and equipment cleaning, inspection, troubleshooting, repair/refurbishment, and testing.     Responsibilities:

    Clean, inspect, repair/refurbish, test, and operate mechanical equipment systems, which include industrial centrifuges, pumps, skids/frames, instrumentation, valves, plumbing (pipe, tube, hose, etc.), filters, pneumatics, etc. Electrical wiring of primary and auxiliary equipment, including 480V 3-phase, 120V single-phase, 24VDC, and communication wiring.Operate forklifts, man-lift/scissor-lift, and overhead crane.Assist in pilot/trial projects, including equipment and/or system set up, operation or equipment, taking samples, documenting parameters (pressure, temperature, and other set points), disassembly, equipment and area clean up, and other related tasks as needed. Proficient with general hand and power tools.Proficient with cleaning tools, including pressure washer, steam/hot water washer, automatic parts washer, hand parts washer, and cleaning equipment, skids/frames, parts, etc. by hand.Proficient at reading mechanical drawings, including process diagrams, fabrication and assembly drawings, and reading equipment manuals and datasheets.Proficient at reading, inspecting from, and wiring to electrical drawings, including wiring diagrams, panel layout, electrical bill of materials, riser diagrams, etc. Use an Inventory Management System to pull and allocate parts from inventory to a project. In 2020, we created a new division of Trucent called, Trucent Renewable Chemicals. We specialize on taking oils from agricultural products like corn, soy, or other vegetable oils and separate out the specialty chemical compounds, amino acids, fatty acids, etc.

    We are currently looking for a Night Shift Operator to support Renewable Chemical Plant in Van Wert, Ohio. This person is responsible for the operation of all equipment and all process controls associated with processing (mixing and blending) liquid and dry materials according to customer specifications. This position has a starting pay between $22-24 per hour based on relevant experience and skills, $2 shift premium once you are trained and moved to night shift, and up to an additional $2 per hour increase based on skill attainment and demonstrated process knowledge. The position also has full benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision), and 3 weeks' vacation. We operate on 12-hour shifts, 6:00pm - 6:00am. Training would be on day shift (6:00am - 6:00pm), before moving onto the night shift. We are a 24/7 Operation, so expect to work every other weekend.

    POSITION FUNCTIONS

    Essential Functions:

    Read, interpret and follow machinery and batch instructions.Gather raw materials; measure and mix according to batching instructions. Package finished goods into containers or totes as specified.Record information regarding material usage and finished products when necessary.Operate machinery necessary for producing product.Maintain cleanliness of equipment and surrounding area.Ensure EH&S and company policies are followed.Handles waste to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.Support company FSSC initiative by maintaining and improving food safety and food quality through completing job tasks, following GMP's and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner

    Environmental/Atmospheric Conditions (Environmental and atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job):

    Inside conditions mostly in a manufacturing facility with exposure to noise, extreme temperatures, vibration, physical hazards (electrical current, oils, chemicals) and adverse atmospheric conditions (fumes, odors, dust, gases, acids). Physical conditions include close proximity to moving mechanical parts.

    POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

    Education:

    High school diploma or GED

    Experience:

    2+ years' experience in an operator role in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated conflict resolution skills.Leadership skills such as decision making, motivation, and goal-setting.Excellent organization and time management skills.Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.     Machines, Tools, Equipment, Software and Work Aids (May be representative, but not all-inclusive, of those commonly associated with this position):

    Hand tools, mechanics tools, forklift, computer, fax machine, scanner, phone, email.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, preferably MS Office 360, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.

    Valid driver's license may be required if operating Trucent vehicles.
