    Overall Scope:

    Minimum Requirements:

    Responsibilities & Duties:

    Engineering company is seeking a Timekeeper for a contract (possible perm) role to be based in New Roads, Louisiana (fully on-site). Union payroll experience helpful, but not required. Pay up to $33/hr, depends on experience.


    Duties

    • Perform various payroll duties with some complexity, including leading the effort on daily reconciliation of timecards, record call-ins, updating the infraction database, and issuing required daily reports

    • Monitor the clock alley of craft hourly employees and as needed, subcontract personnel

    • Coordinate data entry of new/rehires, terminations, rate changes, and other miscellaneous changes by Human Resources to ensure timely delivery of these data elements to on site Payroll/Timekeeping

    • Perform data entry, produce, and analyze reports while utilizing standard payroll and timekeeping systems

    • Support a payroll staff and contribute to an environment for the development and professional advancement of staff members

    • Review compliance documentation for any work practices identified by management


    Basic Job Requirements

    • A combination of education and directly related experience equal to four (4) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements

    • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors

    • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job

    • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
