TRS Craft Services is hiring Warehouse Technicians in the Jersey Village area for contract to hire position. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in working in a warehouse and meet the majority of our clients needs.
Equipment experience: RF gun, Stand-up forklift (Dock stocker, Reach truck), Order picker. The Order picker is key. This equipment is used extensively in our clients distribution center, so experience s required.
Work experience: At least (3) years experience in three or more of the following areas in a warehouse or distribution center preferred;
Picking
Packing
Receiving
Putaway
Cycle Counting
Loading/Unloading Trucks
Other experience will be considered if it closely relates to our business operation and processes
Some computer experience would be a plus
This is a distribution center, therefore relevant experience in a fast-paced, high volume finished goods operation would be desirable.
Characteristics; dependable, motivated, takes initiative, communicates well, strives to be the best at what they do. Quick learning ability and the skill and reliability to follow instructions. Must be a self starter and mature enough to know what to do and to do what is expected without being told.
Must be able to work your way around a computer.
Schedule: Mon to Fri 7am to 4pm but may change to 8am to 5pm. Flexibility to work longer hours required.
