Position Summary
The Production Specialist plays a key role in supporting Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Production Operations, and Raw Material Quality. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance, maintaining product quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Position Overview
The Inventory Control Clerk plays a critical support role within the warehouse team, ensuring accurate inventory records and efficient daily operations. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, discrepancy resolution, and product handling.
Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while supporting warehouse operations and inventory integrity.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform cycle counts of inventory and update records manually or electronicallyCheck in drivers and verify that paperwork matches delivered productsManage inventory returns and direct proper product placementMaintain cleanliness, organization, and security of the dock areaFollow and maintain cycle count schedules, bin audits, and discrepancy trackingResearch and resolve inventory discrepancies, including negative balancesComplete product return put-awaysAssist with damage recovery and donation coordinationConduct daily purchase order (PO) audits for accuracySupport additional inventory control tasks, including:Assigning new pick locationsManaging duplicate pick binsBread inventory trackingCorrecting invalid pallet IDsResponding to inventory requestsMonitor inventory rotation using FIFO/FEFO methods to minimize spoilageVerify inbound and outbound shipments against POs and invoicesInspect incoming products for quality, temperature, and labeling complianceEnsure proper storage across dry, refrigerated, and frozen environmentsAssist with product recall processes by identifying and isolating affected inventoryGenerate reports on inventory variances, stock levels, and movementMaintain a clean, organized, and food-safe warehouse environmentFollow all safety policies and proceduresRemove and document damaged, expired, or contaminated productsProvide support to other departments as neededRequired Skills & QualificationsAbility to work overtime as neededStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to self-manage workload and prioritize tasks effectivelyComfortable working in fast-paced environmentsAbility to multitask and adapt to changing prioritiesStrong mathematical and problem-solving skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Willingness and ability to learn new systems and proceduresExperience operating material handling equipment (forklift, order picker, pallet jack)Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods (protective gear provided)Comfortable performing repetitive tasksEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of 2 years of inventory control or warehouse experience, including administrative responsibilitiesWorking Conditions & Physical RequirementsWork is performed in a warehouse environment, including office, cooler, and freezer settingsExposure to varying temperatures, equipment noise, and warehouse trafficAbility to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the dayFrequent reaching, bending, and liftingAbility to lift up to 50 pounds as neededUse of standard office and warehouse equipmentAdditional InformationThis job description is not intended to be a complete list of duties or responsibilities. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Check Carpenter Shop Lead’s sketch or drawings of form work.Carry Styrofoam, 2x4’s, PVC pipe, etc., into the Carpenter Shop.Measure and mark forming material to correct dimensions.Cut/saw forming materials to size on table saw, radial saw, or other equipment.Cut/saw bevel in narrow or wide reveal.Install reveals or other form work in BDS beds.Repair, modify, or clean used form work to be salvaged for additional pours.Clean up work area.
