Compensation: $150,000–$190,000 base salary (depending on experience)

Our client is seeking a dynamic Director of Engineering to lead and scale their engineering operations during an exciting period of expansion. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving strategic initiatives, optimizing processes, and delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions across complex projects.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team of 10–15 professionals; foster a collaborative and innovative culture.Strategic Execution: Define and execute engineering strategies aligned with business goals, industry standards, and emerging technologies.Project Oversight: Manage the full lifecycle of engineering projects, from concept through implementation and optimization.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all engineering processes meet regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve complex technical issues while continuously improving system performance and reliability.Budget & Resource Management: Oversee budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.Innovation & Industry Trends: Stay current with new technologies, tools, and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).10+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.Experience leading and developing a team of 10–15 engineers and technical staff.Proven expertise in HVAC system design, engineering, and project management.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and design principles.Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD is highly desirable.Professional certifications or industry-specific credentials are a plus.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.Experience in mentoring, training, and professional development of engineering staff.Due to the nature of the projects US Citizenship is required Key CompetenciesAnalytical thinking and technical acumenDecisive, strategic, and results-orientedStrong presentation and verbal communication skillsEffective in time management and prioritizationHands-on leadership with team-building expertiseAdaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environmentThis is a direct hire opportunity with a competitive compensation package and long-term growth potential.
