Compounding Pharmacist
Triangle Compounding Pharmacy | Cary, NC | Full-Time | On-Site | Monday–Friday + One Half-Saturday/Month
Are you a pharmacist who wants to do more than dispense?
Most pharmacy roles keep you behind a counter. This one puts you at the center of patient care — working directly with prescribers to design therapies that don't exist anywhere else.
At Triangle Compounding Pharmacy, we build custom medications for patients whose needs can't be met by commercial products. We were the first PCAB-accredited compounding pharmacy in North Carolina and the state's first FDA-registered 503B Human Drug Outsourcing Facility. Our standards are high because our patients depend on them — and our pharmacists take pride in that.
If you're clinically curious, detail-oriented, and ready to practice pharmacy at a deeper level, we want to meet you.
What You'll Do
● Collaborate with prescribers to develop and refine personalized formulations for individual patients
● Review prescriptions for accuracy, clinical appropriateness, and potential drug interactions
● Prepare and verify sterile and non-sterile compounds in accordance with USP <795>, <797>, and <800> standards
● Evaluate formulation stability, compatibility, and dosage-form selection
● Counsel patients on dosing, side effects, storage, and drug interactions
● Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians in compounding procedures
● Manage pharmaceutical and chemical inventory and ensure regulatory compliance
● Maintain accurate records across all compounding activities

● Working knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, and <800>
● Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
