We are looking for a Logistics Technician to help us meet production and quality goals. As a Trex Logistics Technician, you'll be responsible for managing the loading and shipping of finished goods via truck and rail, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring the organization and integrity of the finished goods yard and warehouse. This role is a key member of our Operations team. RESPONSIBILITIES Put safety first - always Work as a team to drive our "people first" culture Unload inbound shipments safely, identify film codes and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas. Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate to include scanning product correctly. Report variances. Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards. Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards. Participate in monthly inventory counts. Perform housekeeping duties. Participate in logistics-related project teams. Perform other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE Able to lift up to 50lbs. Identify, count, and inspect production from previous shifts as well as incoming shippment to the railing warehouse on a daily basis. Ensure final packaging standards have been met and determine final disposition of finished goods. Participate in daily quality audits at both the main plant and the railing warehouse Maintain "real time" process flow charts throughout the shift. Communicate adverse trends and aesthetic defects to the production team. Identify visual quality issues on finished product. Record all quality issues. Conduct random bundle audits. Cut, label, and store representative samples from each production line to be used for quality control testing. Identify scrap material on the line that doesn't meet specs per Quality Data Specifications Strong time management skills and a self-starter attitude - you know how to prioritize and get things done without someone looking over your shoulder.
