Trenton Processing is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team in Trenton, IL. Responsibilities:
Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of processing equipment, machinery, and facility areasClean and Sanitize the harvest floor and slaughter equipment following daily processing inaccordance with, USDA & company sanitation proceduresFollow established sanitation protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Apply and handle cleaning chemicals and sanitizing agents safely and correctlyConduct pre-operational and post-operational sanitation inspectionsDocument and record sanitation activities in compliance with food safety standardsIdentify and report potential sanitation or safety hazards to supervisorsSupport GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP compliance throughout the facilityRequirements:
Prior experience in sanitation, janitorial, or food processing environments preferredKnowledge of or willingness to learn GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulationsAbility to safely handle and apply industrial cleaning chemicalsMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment, including nights or weekends as neededStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standardsAbility to stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periodsReliable, punctual, and a strong team playerAbout Us:
