    POSITION TITLE: Surveillance Manager

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Responsible for all activities in the Surveillance Department, to ensure the protection of life and property at Divi Carina Bay Casino. Directly supervises the activities of all Surveillance employees, and indirectly supervises the activities of all crewmembers who work on the gaming floor.

    TASKS:

    Maintains consistency with established company guidelines and controls.Ensures the quality of operations of the Surveillance department.Maintains a working knowledge of all rules and regulations of the Casino Control Commission (CCC), and ensures strict adherence to same throughout the property.Always maintains the highest level of confidentiality.Communicates with all department heads and General Manager to ensure problems are effectively and promptly resolved.Follows established reporting system for Surveillance. when cheating, theft, embezzlement or suspicious activities take place on the property. In the case of suspicion of involvement by the General Manager, reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.Coordinates with the Security Dept. when Surveillance discovers a matter which requires further investigation or attention.Studies cheating activity and trends in other gaming areas, in order to take precautionary measures and deter cheating on this property.Regularly inspects the monitored areas, identifies potential safety or security same to the appropriate department head or property management, for proper resolution.Reviews surveillance footage and reports, providing detailed information to appropriate company officials. After approval of General Manager, provides information to outside agencies.Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.Controls and maintains closed circuit televisions, surplus spare parts inventory, and ensures proper functioning of all surveillance equipment, coordinating outside repairs and maintenance as necessary.Coordinates with Casino Managers to monitor the play in an area deemed necessary.Provides reports as requested by department heads and General Manager.Other tasks as requested by management.

    EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

    Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or related area from a four-year college or university; or 4 to 6 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be 21 years old and able to obtain a Gaming License.

    Special requirements: Minimum of four (4) years in a law enforcement agency or related field, with progressive supervisory/managerial experience required. Background in gaming surveillance highly preferred. Must possess excellent observational and communication skills.

    Language skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents such as technical journals, Gaming Regulations, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from guests, regulatory agencies or department heads. Ability to present information to top Management in a concise, accurate format.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Perform routine and requested maintenance using blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions to obtain dimensions and complete various tasks.

    TASKS:

    Perform general maintenance work to include repair, fabrication, paneling, ceiling, concrete work, painting, minor AC maintenance, laminate plastics, and other related duties as assigned.Responsible for informing Operations Manager of inventories levels regarding tools, parts, and supplies.As directed by Operations Manager, inspect property for safety and security issues, including but not limited to non-functioning lights, ground and trip hazards, exposed wires, potholes, sewer line breaks, and roof leaks.Ensure adherence to company safety standards, policies, and procedures, in accordance with occupational safety and health administration guidelines.Repair and maintain property plumbing, electrical, mechanical and security systems.Pick up litter throughout the casino parking lot.Perform other tasks assigned by Operations manager.

    CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Must be at least 21 years old and must be able to obtain a US Virgin Islands Gaming Work Permit/License.

    EDUCATION OR SKILLS REQUIRED: High School diploma or equivalent.

    Two years of experience in a maintenance related trade. Physical ability and skill to use normal tools and equipment associated with trade. High ambulatory mobility to enable a person to respond to any type of emergency situation or service call and ability to effectively communicate by way of 2-way radio or pager system. Must be able to erect and work on scaffolding. Must be able to work with little or no supervision.

    PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: The following activities are normally required to perform these functions: stand, walk, bend, reach, read, write, eye to hand coordination, depth perception, effective verbal communication, strong math skills, excellent organizational skills. Able to lift minimum 40 lbs.

    HAZARDS: Include, but are not limited to neck and back strain, eye strain, stress, and related disorders.

    TASKS:

    1. Receives beverage orders from beverage servers or directly from the guests at the bar, and prepares each drink with proper proportions and ingredients.

    2. Observes all rules for order taking and has thorough knowledge of cocktails, beers, wines, glassware, pricing and cash/comp procedures.

    3. Operates cash register system, bears responsibility for all cash, cash receipts, comp tickets, and provides guests with proper change as required.

    4. Maintains highest standards of sanitation, personal grooming, and personal conduct.

    5. Observant and aware of guests’ and servers’ needs at all times.

    POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for preparing food items on Café menu and employee meals; processing customer orders; and cleaning workstations throughout the shift in accordance

    with health and safety regulations. Responsible for setting up and stocking food items for the Café. Prepares food items as ordered at the café and for employee dining room by cutting,

    chopping, and mixing; and using various cooking techniques as specified by recipes and standards.

    TASKS:

    1. Weigh and measure using tools such as a scale.

    2. Once instructions are provided, read and consistently follow recipes to standards with little to no assistance.

    3. Properly and safely operate basic kitchen equipment.

    4. Have knowledge of and follow basic sanitation rules.

    5. Prepare food items using the following cooking techniques: Sauté, Fry, Braise, Grill, Broil, Bake, and Roast.

    6. Prep food items including vegetables, meat, and salad bar for all food outlets.

    7. Assist in buffet presentation as needed.

    8. Order products and compute yield and consumption.

    8. Operate the cash register, wash dishes, and remove trash as needed.

    CERTIFICATION/LICENSES:

    Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid US Virgin Islands Food Handler’s card; and must be able to obtain a US Virgin Islands Gaming Work Permit/License.

    EDUCATION and SKILLS REQUIRED:

    High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year experience working in a back of house food and beverage position. Must know proper use of hand tools, especially knives, be able to execute all cooking techniques at a high level, adjust a recipe to alter its yield, understand internal temperature and degrees of doneness, and must understand product re-utilization.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
