Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join our growing Civil/Site Design team in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience in site design, stormwater management, grading, drainage, and utility design. This position has the unique opportunity to partner with and learn from some of the best engineers, project managers, and other technical staff in the industry. Our Civil engineers are part of a site development team where they will design improvements including site layout, utilities, grading, drainage, erosion control, and stormwater management for a wide range of private and public clients throughout Virginia and the US. Responsibilities * Oversee a team of two (2) to four (4) engineers and CAD designers. * Be involved in leading Civil Engineering related project aspects including studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates and participate in client meetings. Projects may include planning, modeling, and design of facilities such as public and private facilities including design elements of site layout, utilities, grading, drainage, erosion control, and stormwater management. * Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders. * Provide project management on various sized projects that results in successful outcomes for the client, the company, and staff. Ensure budgets and schedules are adhered to. * Ability to execute engineering best practices for civil engineering projects for a wide variety of clients, adapting to new environments quickly. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. * Minimum 8 years of professional experience in engineering with a minimum of 4 years project management and a focus on civil engineering project delivery. * Professional Engineering License in Virginia; or the ability to become licensed within three (3) months. * Successful track record of project delivery through planning, preliminary and final design, including a proven track record and strong desire of providing superior client service and delivery. * Proven ability in leading a team of engineers and designers. Overview This role may work out of other TRC offices anywhere in the US. The Technical Project Manager manages complex pipeline and/or related facility projects and proposals and is responsible for cross functional integration of teams across the project. The PM manages assigned projects from the proposal stage through project completion. The PM will ensure appropriate resources are assigned to the project and manage resources through the completion and issue of client deliverables on time and on budget as dictated by project scope and schedule. The PM responsible for managing project budget and schedule via the change management process and keeping the project accounting system current with project contract value and estimate at completion values. The PM will need to fully understand the details of project to ensure alignment across all discipline and will ultimately lead a cross functional team. The PM will maintain a high degree of external and internal customer service via clear and timely communication and project reporting. Ability to manage multiple remote resources and coordinate activities across multiple disciplines and offices * Project financial management * Ensure the project's budgeted costs and profits are met or improved. Overview The Title Manager position will be responsible for working with multiple project managers in overseeing project title teams, for projects across the US. This person should have a good working knowledge of the various document tracking systems of public real estate records and must possess competent knowledge and skills in land descriptions, terminology, easements, and a variety of conveyance documents. This role will be expected to prepare resource estimates as needed for upcoming and current opportunities as well as manage both onsite and remote project teams. The Title Manager should recognize issues of title that may need to be resolved and be responsible for managing to TRC's title procedures and reporting expectations, direct title projects and crews in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. This person should be highly motivated with the ability to work without supervision, or as part of a productive team, often requiring travel to project sites as required. Other factors such as education, other work experiences and licenses or accreditations may be considered in determining the qualification being met. Responsibilities * Communicates directly with the Client Representative and the Director, Field Services to report Land progress outlining problems with possible resolution to pertinent issues impeding project completion. * Create and manage project budgets, manage to budgets, reforecast monthly. * Responsible for managing and overseeing portfolio of projects. * Utilize TRC and client technology to effectively manage projects. * Responsible for consistent messaging to all stakeholders across projects. * Responsible for risk assessment, mitigation, and corrective action plans. * Responsible for the overall project Land activities. Performs regular risk analysis. * Reviews Land requirements and develops a written Execution Plan for the implementation of the activities needed to meet those requirements. * Assure that all Land personnel are orientated when assigned to the project; this may include planning, schedules, polices, guidelines, procedures, safety, emergency response, and quality assurance. * Assigns tasks to each Land personnel and explains the requirements for documentation of those tasks. Provides document, record, and report forms and explains the proper completion, distribution, and timing for submittal of forms. * Monitors personnel's performance of activities, completion of documentation, personal conduct, and work ethics to identify trends. Evaluates these actions and provides guidance, coaching, motivation, or discipline as necessary to reinforce their role on the project. * Approves all Land personnel time and expenses. * Monitors the overall Land tasks for compliance to project requirements. Overview The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of the US employees and partner payrolls and providing an elevated level of customer service to employees, partners, vendors, and outside agencies. This position is also responsible for creating, generating, and distributing various reports and conducting research as requested. Responsible for electronic payroll processing, reconciliation, recordkeeping, reporting, compliance, audit, control, and security. The Payroll Coordinator must keep both the Accounting/Finance and Human Resources departments advised of noteworthy events and system changes/problems and must always maintain strict confidentiality. Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, this position will actively communicate with Human Resources, Payroll, Accounting/Finance, and IT for data requirements. This is a Temporary role. Responsibilities * Prepare and deliver periodic payroll-related reports including but not limited to tax and labor compliance reporting and documents, benefits administration, and payroll systems maintenance. * Process and file certified payroll in compliance with prevailing wage regulations for public works and government-funded projects. * Ensure full prevailing wage compliance, including accurate reporting and documentation. * Utilize systems such as Points North, DIR, LCPtracker, and Elations to prepare and submit certified payroll reports. * Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to support audits, reporting requirements, and compliance inquiries. * Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure timely submission of all required compliance documentation. * Timely and accurate payroll data entry in the Vision and ADP EV6 systems and other utilized software. * Reconcile payroll data against payroll registers and resolve discrepancies. * Reconciling all payroll-related transactions to the General Ledger. * Assist the Accounting/Finance Department in reconciling payroll discrepancies in the general ledger. * Ensure payroll information is managed and maintained with strict security safeguards and confidentiality. * General check requests for payments to vendors, taxing authorities, etc. promptly. * Provide outstanding, friendly, and timely customer service to any partners, employees, or co-workers who have questions or issues to be resolved. * Communicating changes or concerns as appropriate to the Payroll Supervisor and the Accounting/Finance, Human Resources, and IT departments, as appropriate. * Answer questions regarding pay including hours, overtime, deductions, direct deposit, severance payments, etc. Problem-solve issues as appropriate, reporting noteworthy events to the Payroll Supervisor or HR, as necessary. * Trouble-shoot and resolve problems with ADP and contact Customer Support, as necessary. * Remain current on company policies and procedures, and Federal, state, and local payroll laws as they pertain to wage and hour, taxes, benefits, garnishments, 401(k) limits, etc. Includes knowledge of various state/local regulations in states where the company operates in US. * Other miscellaneous duties as assigned including being cross trained to cover for other members of the department during absences. Qualifications * 0-2 years of payroll/accounting experience. * Hands-on experience with LCPtracker, including prevailing wage processing, with strong exposure to ADP EV6 and compliance systems such as DIR and Elations. * Ability to analyze data with multiple tools (excel, access, and other databases) and communicate effectively. * Excellent communication and people skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with individuals at all organizational levels. Able to organize and prioritize issues and workload. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
