    **This is a mobile technician role supporting our Austin TX service area. **You'll be provided a take-home company service vehicle, so while this posting is listed under Temple, TX, we welcome applicants from Temple, Round Rock, Georgetown, Killeen, and other communities within reach of the Austin market — you don't need to live in Austin itself to apply.

    What You'll Do:

    Perform maintenance and repairs on medium and light duty diesel trucks, including engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.Diagnose complex mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and service manuals.Execute both scheduled and unscheduled repairs with minimal supervision, ensuring safety and performance standards.Operate specialized equipment to support repair and maintenance tasks in the field.Communicate clearly with customers, providing detailed service recommendations and updates.Maintain accurate, detailed records of all repairs and maintenance activities.Mentor entry-level technicians and collaborate with teams to enhance service delivery.Stay current on industry advancements and apply expertise to improve repair processes.

    What You Bring:

    High school diploma or GED.5+ years of hands-on experience with medium/light duty diesel trucks, including engine, hydraulic, or electrical systems.Advanced knowledge of diagnostic tools and service manuals.Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced settings.Ability to provide own tools suitable for the job.Capability to prioritize and multitask effectively.Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle (mobile role).Ability to pass background checks.Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in indoor/outdoor environments.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience working as a mobile mechanic servicing commercial fleets with medium/light duty diesel units.ASE certifications or OEM-specific training (e.g., Cummins, Detroit, Volvo, etc).Experience with field service or mobile repair.Strong communication and customer service skills.Proven customer-facing experience or project leadership on job sites.

    What You’ll Do
