Trader Buck's in Richmond is looking for friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cashiers to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be one of the first people our customers and vendors interact with, helping create a positive shopping experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
In this role, you will assist customers with purchases, answer questions, process transactions, and help maintain a clean and welcoming store environment. We are looking for team members who enjoy working with people, have a positive attitude, and can thrive in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities
Greet customers and provide excellent customer serviceProcess cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accuratelyAnswer customer questions and assist with locating productsHelp vendors and customers with general inquiriesMaintain a clean, organized, and professional checkout areaBalance cash drawer and ensure transaction accuracyAssist with store opening and closing procedures as neededSupport other team members and management with daily operationsFollow company policies and proceduresQualifications
Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred, but not requiredStrong communication and customer service skillsBasic math and cash-handling abilitiesDependable, punctual, and able to work independentlyAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentPositive attitude and willingness to learnAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
