    About the Role

    The Electrician - Interior position performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy.

    What You'll Be Doing

    Installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as exterior lighting / circuits, generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications.Locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment; working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment.Using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments.Will be responsible for working with vendors to procure quotes for replacement parts and equipment, will also be responsible for the proper documentation of work performed and materials used.Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

    What We're Looking For

    In general, the work of the maintenance electrician requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.Must have a minimum of six (6) years journey-level experience and have completed a formal apprenticeship or equivalent formal vocational/technical training program on industrial electrical systems. Each complete year of accredited college education in a related field may be substituted for the equivalent number of years of required experience. Must maintain required city/county/state license(s) and/or certification(s), where applicable. Must be able to operate and work from various lifts and bucket trucks.Must be able to successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (Tier 1) background check. Must maintain licenses and/or credentials required for this position. Must possess the ability to work in a high-volume office area and interface in a positive manner with co-workers and the customer. Must possess the ability to work in a team or alone and be able to change jobs on short notice. Performs all assigned duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and directives. Displays courtesy and skill in dealing with internal and external customers, coworkers, and management. Accurately maintains and updates records to enable quick and efficient retrieval of information. Ability to work independently. Ability to speak, read, and write English. Must possess the ability to interact well with others in a team setting ability or alone and be able to change jobs on short notice.  Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities.  Highly motivated, flexible organized and must be detail oriented.  Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.  Must be able to maintain ability to access government worksite.  Must have practical knowledge of worksite safety, occupational hazards, and standard safety practices.  Work is performed both indoors and outdoors environments. Some work is performed with exposure to low to loud noise level; frequent fieldwork is required with exposure to a variety of weather conditions and the external environment; tasks may require working in tightly enclosed spaces and the use of ladders or other safety equipment to gain access to hard-to-reach locations; some work is performed in crawl spaces, attics or on rooftops. Some work may require exposure to dust, particulates, unpleasant and potentially hazardous substances and high voltage. Duties require on a continuous basis to sit, stand, bend, climb ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and twist for varying periods in the course of work; use hands and fingers to grasp tools; make repetitive hand and body motions; twist and reach below and above shoulder; lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; to communicate with co-workers using a two-way radio; use telephone, and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means; see in the normal vision range with or without correction to read computer screen, blueprints, and drafting plans; hear in the normal range with or without correction. Must be able to work alternate and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the customer's mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.    Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license to operate a company vehicle.  Must have a safe driving record, as defined by Company policy, to operate a company vehicle.  Must be able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check.

    Scope of Work:

    The Locksmith shall be fully equipped to manage security locks for both commercial and Federal government environments, including mechanical and electrical locking devices, as well as tenant security safes.

    Responsibilities:

    Perform routine, urgent, and emergency service requests for mechanical and electronic locks, safes, vaults, security containers, and access control devices.Install, replace, repair, maintain, and adjust combination locks, locking systems, Simplex/Unican push-button locks, cypher locks, electronic keypads, and key override systems in accordance with applicable industry standards.Disassemble, lubricate, reassemble, and perform preventive maintenance on locks and associated hardware to ensure proper operation.Change combinations on mechanical and electronic locks, safes, vaults, security containers, and secure access doors.Open, troubleshoot, repair, and restore security containers, vault doors, and controlled access doors when combinations are unknown or locking mechanisms have malfunctioned.Neutralize lockouts using approved drilling techniques that minimize damage and replace drilled combination locks with specified replacement locks.Repair and adjust locking mechanisms, bolt release systems, drawer controls, locking bolts, gang linkage assemblies, body slides, suspension runners, channels, cradle suspensions, and related hardware.Repair or replace defective vault door components, including bolt mechanisms, cam assemblies, handles, arbors, door alignment, thumb latches, and associated hardware.Level and adjust safes, security containers, and vault doors to ensure proper alignment and operation.Provide users with instruction on the proper operation and care of installed locking systems and security equipment.Report unauthorized modifications, defective locks, or compromised security equipment.Maintain accountability, safeguarding, issuance, receipt, and restricted handling of spare keys, special keys, designated locks, and other security-controlled items.Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    5–10 years of commercial, institutional, or government locksmith experience.Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency service requests involving secure facilities and locking systems.Ability to travel as needed to support customer sites and contract operations throughout the United States and its territories.Kaba-Mas certification to install, diagnose, maintain, and repair high-security electronic locking systems.Successful participation in the Associated Locksmiths of America (ALOA) Proficiency Registration Program (PRP) or documented equivalent education, training, and experience.Certificate of completion from an ALOA-recognized or accredited locksmith school or training program.Required certifications and licensing to perform locksmith services in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.U.S. citizenship required.Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.High school diploma or GED required.Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and customer service skills.Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.

    About the Role

    The Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning Mechanic installs, services, troubleshoots, and repairs environmental-control systems at MCAS Beaufort.

    What You'll Be Doing

    Utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, pipefitting and structural layout, mounts compressor and condenser units on platform or floor, using hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, fabricates, assembles, and installs ductwork and chassis parts, using portable metalworking tools and welding equipment, and installs 79 evaporator unit in chassis or in air-duct system, using hand tools.Connects motors, compressors, temperature controls, humidity controls, and circulating ventilation fans to control panels and connects control panels to power source.Knowledge of geo-thermal loops.Installs air and water filters in completed installation, injects small amount of refrigerant into compressor to test systems and adds Freon gas to build up prescribed operating pressure.Pipes in insulation batting and secures them in place with cement and bands.Replaces defective breaker controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and electrical wiring to repair installed units.Install, repair, and service air conditioners, ranging from one to twenty tons cooling capacity.Observes pressure and vacuum gauges and adjusts controls to ensure proper operation.Tests joints and connections for gas leaks, using gauges or soap-and-water solution.Troubleshoot commercial HVAC Equipment.Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.Performs other duties as assigned.

    About the Role

    The Contracts Manager (BOS) will serve as the primary point of contact for all contractual, financial, and compliance matters across one or more Base Operations Support (BOS) programs. This individual will oversee cradle-to-grave contract administration, including proposal support, negotiations, subcontract management, modifications, funding oversight, and regulatory compliance under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS), and related agency supplements.

    The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience managing large, complex BOS or similar service contracts supporting installations, with strong knowledge of cost principles, funding limitations, and performance-based service environments such as facility maintenance, IT, and emergency response.

    What You'll Be Doing

    About the Role

    The Contracts Manager (BOS) will serve as the primary point of contact for all contractual, financial, and compliance matters across one or more Base Operations Support (BOS) programs.     Physical Demands & Work Environment

    Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching for long periods of time.Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and around various hazards with appropriate PPE. US Pay Range$32.22—$32.22 USD
