Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Settlement Agent / Title Processor to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
Review and analyze title reports, title commitments, and escrow instructions to ensure accuracy and completeness.Prepare and process settlement documents, including closing disclosures, settlement statements, and contracts in accordance with TILA (Truth in Lending Act) regulations.Coordinate with escrow officers, lenders, real estate agents, and attorneys to facilitate seamless transaction closings.Perform basic math calculations for escrow amounts, prorations, taxes, insurance, and other financial components involved in settlement processing.Maintain accurate records of all transaction documentation using 10-key typing skills and computer systems for efficient processing.Communicate with attorneys, lenders, realtors, and underwritersEnter ordersProduce CDs and HUDsDisbursementsClosing CoordinationFile ClearanceEducation and Experience:Minimum of 2 years of title examining experience
NJ Title Producer License REQUIRED
Plus if familiar with Accutitle software and CSC e-recording.'
