Responsibilities Titan Virginia Ready Mix is looking for high energy women and men to fill our openings for Ready Mix Drivers at our facilities in Springfield, Virginia. Titan Virginia Ready Mix offers excellent wages and benefits, including health, dental, vision, 401k savings plan, paid vacation, and holidays. Drivers should be flexible, patient, trustworthy, customer service driven, and adaptable to changing environments and schedules. Responsibilities: * Safely operate truck in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and company regulations * Efficiently load and deliver perishable product to customer, providing quality customer service * Complete required pre and post trip inspections reporting necessary maintenance required * Operate truck to receive load, evaluate slump, and drive to job site * Safely maneuver truck on job site, attach chutes to discharge material, and clean truck to minimize concrete buildup * Complete all forms, tickets, and required paperwork in a timely manner * Keep inside and outside of truck clean * Communicate with dispatch, maintenance, and plant management to facilitate the flow of information required to provide good customer service * When not performing driving duties assist with plant maintenance, cleanup, and other duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications Required Skills: * Valid Class B CDL and ability to maintain a clean driving record * Professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and customers * Ability to pass pre-employment process, including criminal background check, DOT physical, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Report * Ready-mix industry knowledge or related industry a plus Working Conditions: * Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, early mornings, and overtime * Work outdoors with exposure to extreme heat and cold and other outdoor environmental conditions * Operate equipment, tools, and controls, performing repetitive movements with hands, wrists and feet * Frequent reaching, climbing (up and down the truck several times a day), stooping, kneeling, crouching and sitting * Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., multiple times a day Position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life and matching 401K). This salaried non-exempt position (eligible for overtime) will report directly to the Operations Supervisor and is responsible for the daily operation of the plant, including but not limited to operations, maintenance, production, inventory control, safety, environmental compliance, and supervision of plant employees. Responsibilities * Ensure that all products produced meet or exceed customers' expectationsregardingquality and service. * Ensure adequate inventoriesin order tomeet customer needs. * Ensure that a safe workplace ismaintained, based on company policies and OSHA guidelines. * Schedule material deliveries according to information provided byDispatchoffice (according to customer needs). * Ensure deliveries are made promptly, safely, and efficiently. * Ensure that operationremainsin compliance with all applicable environmental standards. * Maintainplant in excellent condition, mechanically and esthetically. * Prepare and ensure accuracy of paperwork resulting from daily business, on occasion,handlecash sales from customers in accordance with established practices and policy. * Ensure that employees are working efficiently and consistently with company policies and guidelines. * Maintaingood working relationships with co-workers and outside agencies' personnel. * Manage corporately approved disciplinary procedurespertaining todrivers and operators assigned to plant. Qualifications High School diploma * Prior experience in Ready Mix Concrete for at least 5 yearsrequiredand prior experience in concrete plant management preferred. * Excellent math and computer skills. * Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. * Must have (or must be able to obtain as soon as possible) ACI Level I Field Testing Technician and FDOT Concrete Batch Plant Operator Certifications within90 daysof hire. Titan Virginia Ready Mix has an immediate opening for a Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative in Richmond, VA. This is a salaried non-exempt position reporting to the Dispatch Manager. The primary responsibility of this position is to facilitate the highest level of customer satisfaction including order taking, dispatching, scheduling of drivers and deliveries, delivery efficiency and inter-department communication. Job Type: Full time Work Location: Palm Beach County Responsibilities Job Responsibilities: * Safely operate truck in accordance with all applicable Federal, state, and company regulations. * Efficiently load and deliver perishable product to customer striving to provide quality and good customer service. * Follow procedures to ensure truck is safe to operate. When not performing driving, duties assist with plant maintenance, cleanup and other duties as assigned by supervisor. * Complete required pre and post trip inspections reporting necessary maintenance as required. * Operate truck to receive load, evaluate slump and drive to job site. Safely maneuver truck on job site, attach chutes to discharge material, clean truck to minimize concrete buildup. * Complete all forms, tickets and required paperwork in a timely manner. * Keep inside and outside of truck clean. * Communicate with dispatch, maintenance and plant management to facilitate the flow of information required to provide good customer service. * Demonstrate a positive attitude and passion for driving. * Ability to operate equipment, tools, controls, radio, perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists and feet, frequent reaching, climbing (up and down the truck several times a day), stooping, kneeling, crouching and sitting. Qualifications Required Skills: * Possess a valid Class A or Class B CDL and ability to maintain a clean driving record. * Display a professional and courteous attitude to internal/external customers and team members. * Safety conscious for self and others. * Ability to pass pre-employment process, including criminal background check, DOT physical, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Report * Ready-mix industry knowledge or related industry a plus * Minimum one year of driving experience with the CDL License. Working Conditions: * Ability to work outdoors with exposure to high and low temperatures and other outdoor environmental conditions. * Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and OT.
