Tiny Town Childcare is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong foundation in early childhood education. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children while fostering their development through play and structured activities. The Daycare professional will be responsible for supervising children, implementing age-appropriate curriculum, and ensuring the well-being of each child in their care. We are in need of both a Lead Teacher as well as an Assistant Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Plan and implement daily activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their needs are met throughout the day.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom setting that encourages exploration and learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Administer first aid when necessary and maintain health and safety standards.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques.
- Support children with special needs by adapting activities to meet individual requirements.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive learning experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in early childhood education or childcare is preferred.
- Familiarity with toddler care practices and classroom management techniques.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Experience in special education or working with diverse learning needs is a plus.
- Background in nannying or preschool settings can be beneficial.
Candidates should demonstrate strong caregiving skills, patience, and the ability to foster a positive learning environment for all children.
FULL-TIME: Monday - Friday for both Lead and Assistant.
